Hi there! In the late winter I was quite lethargic. I didn't manage to get up early when I didn't have to and often the only thing that could make me begin the day were long long hot showers. Recently I changed that and I take cold showers most of the time. I like hot showers, but they're not good for starting the day. The effect of a cold-only shower for me is tremendous and I like the moment where you have to step out of the comfort-zone. It isn't the same for me though when I take a cold shower only after a hot shower. Anyways, for myself I define the Challenge like this: In the morning and during the day ONLY COLD SHOWERS are allowed (not mandatory though). In the evening from six o'clock on, hot showers are allowed. But you can define the Challenge as you like, as long as it is a "30 Days COLD SHOWER Challenge". Make sure to report it when you fail a day and try to stay the course. Happy cold showers
I'm in! I've been taking cold shower for more than a year now, but still I want to participate. Today is my Day 0.
Day 1 *count from yesterday I had longer shower this time and it was so refreshing. I can feel how tension slow down after showering with cold water.
Great that you guys are in! I slacked off with everything in the last days and I had only cold shower after warm showers (which is not so bad after all). I'm determined to get back on track and prioritize my daily routines again. Then cold showers become an easy but enormously helpful routine. By the way, hot showers is a coping mechanism for me. Not bad, but I don't want to get in those dark moods in the first place where I need it.
Finishing Day 8 Since my last post I had only cold showers What's great about this Challenge: it becomes so easy after a while. Stay cool my friends and keep posting
