Hello fellow Fapstronauts! I think many of you are interested to learn more about wet dreams, how to avoid or induce them, experiences of wet dreams from nofap veterans, etc. I thought there is no thread dedicated specifically for WDs yet, so I've created this one. My hope is, if you have any valuable information about wet dreams in general & feel like it could help someone, please post it under this thread. Yours AChosenPeople
I've been looking for help for a long time to help me control my wet dreams, I might go several months without one then it's back to one, two three every week for months. I've had girlfriends get extremely upset by this and also been put in many awkward situations having to explain the semen especially away from home. I've asked various people for help or explanations and also taken medication like no nf to try and stop having wet dreams but nothing's helped. Any information to help would be gratefully accepted.
I just had a Wet Dream 3 days ago. I am over 40 and never experienced anything close to that sensation. I was dreaming I was having Sex and I had an orgasm in my dreams and I woke up to semen in my shorts. Weirdest thing ever for a man my age.
Im 15 and I'm nearly on 10days.My problem is this is the second time this week I had a wet dream and I'm getting a bit suspicious and creeped out.
I will post my wet dream cure/prevention list soon, but now I'm not home, so I hope I can share my wide experience of wet dreams with you soon, now I'm a bit busy too. Happy new Fapfree Year!
I am now 2 months in and didn't have had any wet dream yet, I dedicate it to not giving a damn about fapping or porn or NoFap what so ever
I don't really care much about P or M or O at this moment but not sire why I relapsed last time. Everytjing seemed to going well and suddenly an urge for M just rushed thru my mind and 30 days of PMO went down the drain. Hopefully I will be better prepared this time around.
i had wetdreams for more than 12 years..i had lot of experience..now i cud control them....here are my tips 1.completely move away from PMO and erotic and lustful thoughts and images..be busy with other activities...so you dont get erotic thoughts in dreams and spill semen 2. eat right...so gut feels good 3.daily do meditation...it calms brain.........this is very important 4...work out...lift weights....so energy is used upwards and in other parts 5.do kegel exercises and squats..it strengthens pc muscle and prostrate... 6.if wetdreams come still....dont feel bad and think about it...just think nothing happened and move on..over the time they will stop 7.again no erotic thoughts..this has to come from heart and you have to be seriously move away from pmo and lust....focus on spirituality if you follow all these..within 3 months...you may face wetdreams..after that you will never face wetdreams......enemy is powerful......if you had abstained from PMO for 1 month....and suddenly watched porn for 5 minutes...it may result in wetdreams for a week.i have experienced this.....so complete abstinence is needed..........by following my advise 100% you will be free from wetdreams in few months....I care..wetdreams ruined my life...so please take my advise...be healthy mind
We might as well not have had any sexual thoughts / forgot about Porn or Nofap, but everybody is different and the occurance of Wet Dreams during Abstinence is experienced by many.
I relapsed on my last longest streak because of a wet dream's chaser effect, so I'd definitely encourage you keep in touch with this thread
I ve been "confronting" WDs for a long time now, and I haven't found any way to stop them. Its just the body doing its job. Recently I ve had 3x WD in a row ( 3x nights), but sometimes even a month passes with nothing. Its very random.
I used to have a ton of wet dreams. Like 3 WDs every week every month, or more. It was killing me,especially during a streak I was having. I even had two wet dreams in one night a couple of times. I have been on and off the wagon constantly since then going from a week to a max of 18 days clean. There have been no wet dreams during these times. The one thing I think helped me with that was not masturbating mentally. What I mean is no sexual fantasies or thinking about the porn you watched. Simply put,not getting your brain excited sexually helps the most. According to yourbrainonporn thinking about porn you watched activates the same the porn addiction pathways as actually watching porn does. I believe sexual fantasy does the same. So, if you want no wet dreams ignore and avoid all sexual thoughts, if it helps stop thinking about how hot the chick in your class or workplace is. When any sexual thoughts come simply ignore them, don't try to break it down or engage with it,that will mean it grows .Just plain simple ignore them, like someone poking you. I read something along this somewhere, Say you're sitting in the library reading a book. There's a guy in the row behind you who knows you've got a thing for the sexy stuff,he knows what gets you off,he knows your fetishes. He writes an erotic story or draws something erotic in a paper, makes it into a ball and throws it at you. It hits you on the back of your head or back and falls next to you on the floor. Now you know this guy and can guess what that paper ball contains. You have a choice, either pick up the paper, unroll it ,relapse to what it inside or read it and throw away, mentally cursing the guy behind you OR...you have a better choice, you can simply IGNORE it. You don't pick up the paper ball, you don't look at it. You just go about your business ,which is say reading a book or doing your homework. The guy behind you doesn't give up easy,he keeps hammering you with paper, with more and more stuff to get you off but you ignore him. You know the paper ball contains sexual stuff and if you see what's inside it's going to affect you negatively,so you don't. Sooner or later, the guy behind you he gets bored and gives up. You walk home, without a sexual thought in your head.
This is the content of a .txt file I've created while struggling with wet dreams. These are some cures for WD's. 1. Little/no food before bed. 2. Exercise 3. Sage tea 4. Fenugreek Tea 5. Inhale through your left nostril 13.Relaxing all your muscles can prepare your body for sleep. Anxiety expert Charles Linden says: “Lying on your back, take a deep, slow breath in through your nose and, at the same time, squeeze your toes tightly as if you are trying to curl them under your foot, then release the squeeze. . Roll your eyes Sammy says that closing your eyes and rolling the balls up three times can do the job. She says: “It simulates what you do naturally when you fall asleep and may help trigger the release of your sleepy hormone, melatonin.” Press here! There are special points in the body which promote sleep when pressed gently but firmly. Dr Idzikowski suggests: “Put your thumb on the point between your eyebrows at the top of your nose, where there’s a slight indent. Hold for 20 seconds, release briefly and repeat twice more. “Next, sit on the edge of the bed and put your right foot across your left knee. Find the slight indent between your big toe and second toe and press in the same way. “Finally, still supporting your right foot, find the point just below the nail on the upper side of your second toe. Using the thumb and forefinger of your right hand, gently squeeze the toe.” Read more at: https://www.boldsky.com/health/diso...ight-falls/articlecontent-pf88362-075969.html https://www.nofap.com/forum/index.php?threads/this-is-how-to-stop-wet-dreams.54096/
Wet dreams are normal and natural response of your body which is to have sex and relieve its sexual needs. There is nothing healthy a person can do to avoid them if this builds up. It is a sign your sexuality is awakening. Most of us suffer inhibitions, that are social and psychological in nature of our natural sexuality. Most fapers and masturbators like us and me, often face a decline as we age. However, a younger person this is not so. When you sleep, the part of your brain that knows things in an organized way is turned off. It is reshuffling itself, updating information, deciding what information received in the day is important enough to remember and what is not. Very much of the cultural sexual inhibition is turned off, most of the sex negative ideology is turned off. Your body is going to get aroused. 'NOTHING IS WRONG WITH THIS COMPLETELY NATURAL EXPRESSION OF YOUR HUMANITY.'' Of course, each needs to find sexual release with a lover, but no one should feel embarassed by having wet dreams
