Hi everyone 24,M here I heard about this challenge year ago. I actually started it 15 days back and feelt great about myself. and now I am officially starting it. Currently i am facing problems like low self confidence, less social interactions, felling worthless looking forward to completing 90 days challenge. I have one question is that wet dream considerd as relapse? Also want to tell you guys are awesome, keep it up this great work. All the best to all out there for new life.
Short answer: for me, no. Longer answer: every member defines their own program. My experience is I have no control over what happens when I'm sleeping. 95% to 98% of semen is not sperm. Most of semen is produced by the seminal glands and the prostate. Both of which are conected to the bladder via all that plumbing "down there". Any excess build up of seminal fluids and prostate fluid will be flushed out by the body. It will either back flush into the bladder and be eliminated during urination, be excreted out when stool passes - because the prostate is just on the other side of the rectum, or be eliminated via a nocturnal emission (wet dream). Sperm that is stored in the scrotum is reabsorbed by the body if not ejaculated. "Wet dreams" or nocturnal emissions will eliminate sperm and seminal fluid. Some on here will tell you that you can control your dreams and therefore nocturnal emissions. I'm not here to argue the point. It's my experience I cannot control my dreams. - L

This is a good light-weight video about porn addiction. Read through the journal sections and see what other rebooters have experienced. It is good to know what to expect, otherwise the "chaser effect", "the surge", or the "flatline" might throw you off. If you come across vocabulary that you can't understand, check out our rebooting glossary of terms. GET ACCOUNTABLE FOR YOUR HABITS! Sign up for a peer accountability partner. I've found journals I love, people who are very supportive and a place where I could get to work helping in a small way others. I'm nobody important around here. Just a normal user with no magic powers. But, I can: Read Journals, and comment when I have ESH Find people I admire and stay in touch via their profiles Pick a forum and make sure evvery post gets and answer. I can't answer them all, but that's good - different opinions make for a better group. Post in my journal (I could be better at it - but I do milestone posts at least) To make a journal go to the section listed by age and start one. Keep all your journal posts in one thread. Hey Sam3546, Welcome to the NoFap community! I agree with StopTheMusic that wet dreams aren't considered relapses as a wet dream is not a conscious decision. That being said, it is important to be careful after a wet dream because of the chaser effect. You can read more about the chaser effect in the rebooting information here. Hi @Sam3546 Glad you are here. And very welcome to join us in our journey to a healthy, fulfilling life without any self harming habits. It's a safe place here. We all are in the same boat, so there is no single space for judgement here. Maybe it's a good idea to keep a journal.
