Alright, in this thread we talk about breakfast. Post pictures, tell us about your favorite breakfast, post recipes, go nuts. For much of my life, I ate cereal. But I always knew it was basically candy. Now I specifically prepare overnight oats. I put a pinch of brown sugar, a pinch of salt, a quarter teaspoon each of cinnamon and and vanilla. Today I have three chopped strawberries and half a chopped banana. Im trying it for the first time with chia seeds. What did you have for breakfast?
My SO only drinks it black too. Something about a man who only takes his coffee black tho. It's a good drink.
Bacon eggs and toast is the prime breakfast, so if I get the time I eat that. If I don't have much time I'll eat plain oatmeal, doesn't taste good but gives me energy for the day. Also skip breakfast every other day.
Tea and biscuits is usually enough to get me started, If that isn't the case, I'll just take an espresso from the coffee machine at school. If I'm really fucked up I'll also take something to eat.
Love those soaked oats, although I usually eat them for lunch. I make them with rice milk, almonds, and blueberries. I don't feel right if I don't get my raw oats in every day. For breakfast I prefer something high protein, poached eggs and a sausage. I have chickens, so the eggs pile up.
My breakfasts are bland. Raisin Bran. Honey Nut Cheerios. Maybe some cereal with cranberries in it. On the weekends I might have bacon and eggs. Maybe it's time to do better.
