That depends on your goals, for me, I consider erotica as a porn substitute, you still do a lot of fantasizing, sometimes using real people in place of the characters in the story you read, so there's no really difference with it to porn.
@Struggle Bug I was actually looking for a romance story rather than straight erotica. The rating was Mature only for that fiction so I should've expected some adult contents. Then I jumped to a chapter where it apparently contains a bit of "funny" sex scenes. The "purposely" part is bcs I saw the rating yet still opened it, and the "unpurposely" one is bcs I was looking for a com-rom not some erotics lol.

@Struggle Bug Yep, reading romance fictions abt my fav pairs was one of the things I used to do in my idle time even before I got into PMO. Sadly a few stories did became one of the triggering factor of my first ever orgasm. Hence I rly have to be careful & probably shouldn't even go back on reading them if it continues to serve as a trigger.
