I hate those people and I hate myself for not being able to control my hate. How can i just let it go and forgive?

Can't contribute much, since I rarely anger, don't hate, and appreciate others even when they don't feel the same. But, when I do feel resentful of others, it tends to be when my own spirit is particularly low through self-destructive behavior. Somehow I then have a bitter view of others. The solution is to clean my inner house.
