Ted's the greatest! Mind telling me about the conquer series :D

What of Ted's have you read/seen/tried?

Conquer Series is a video series done by Ted Roberts. it is a combination of talks from Ted and other experts regarding understanding the addiction nature/cycle, understanding woundedness, and the healing process. It is Christian based. The series follows the analogy of battle. Ted was a military flyer in Vietnam days, so has a lot of analogies.

I understand there are Conquer Series groups for teens, but probably far and few between.
There are 5 videos, and we are doing it as a 10 week series. We have about 60 men. We worship with praise songs, watch the video, and then split into small groups of 5-8 men for discussion and support. Hope this helps. If you are in the North Texas area, let me know so you can get plugged in.

I've only watched How your mind works ,The Creativity and memory series So Not that many though I wish to change that :)

It's a shame I'm no where near Texas but Is there anyway for me to watch the videos and follow your discussions that you have? The Conquer series seems really interesting as i've always wanted to know more about the addiction cycle so I can help other people who are struggling with not only porn but many other addictions :)

Do you have any more recommendations besides the Conquer series FW?

Not sure how that could work, but I have thought about it.

Other idea is personal professional counseling which is pretty awesome because you get to get solutions from a pro who has already heard about every struggle a teen has ever experienced. You cannot shock a counselor because they have heard it all.

You can purchase the conquer series individually. Make sure to get the work book also. Check out their website to see where the series is being shown near you. Once you are 18 you should be able to join any group and not just a teen group. Let me know what you dig up.
