I'm usually resistant when someone talks about responsibility because it can be such a scary word, but when it's explained like that I want to embrace it. In the past, I've been terribly irresponsible and maybe it was because I had self-hatred. Maybe responsibility is like love, you can't love other people if you hate yourself.
I like how the quote makes me see things in a different perspective. I also have some issues with responsibility because of how scary it is, but I'm reminded that it should be nothing to fear and it is important to our personal development. Plus, Mr. Rohr sounds like a nice author.
