...Now im sure i know the answer to this, but frankly, its proving harder to convince myself...
i have an obvious trigger on my pc in the form of a program... it is not inherantly pornographic, but i now associate it with P...

    Do i delete it?

It has 100s of components that ive purchased from all over the web, and the reason why im hesitant to delete it, is it is an absolute ordeal to go through and redownload everything...

    Help?

What's the software / what does it do? Can you get alternative software that will do the same thing but won't remind you of P? Is this software necessary?

It's a 3d render and animation program. I've always tinkered with it as a hobby, creating animations/images (non P ones i mean), but frankly, sometimes it's not hard to use it to create "custom" P. Then before i know it, I'm on every and any P site.

It's become a trigger every time i open the program and i lament not being able to just use it as i normally would have back in the day

  4. I don't think you have to delete it. If it is your hobby it is even worse, because you have to do something pleasefull to distract yourself at first days of reboot.

This is what I think may be usefull. Try not to open this software for a while, but just think what image you can create, that doesn't remind you P. Make a list or something. And then when you feel you can control yourself try to draw. And if there is some arousing images in program itself (for example, there is a lady on a home page) try to change them on other, if it's possible.

  6. Aristotle said, "What it lies in our power to do, it lkes in our power not to do" (even back then greek dudes had some bad habits to break). So you CAN do what you want. And can not to do what you don't want.
