Not 100% sold on NoFap yet... what about this approach?

I´m not a hater and I think the science and articles on this seem legit.

When I say "I´m not 100% sold" on NoFap, I mean that I convince myself it is not that bad in the moment and it is true that I´m not a real serious hard-case. No ED.
I wank all in all probably slightly under once a day watching porn on 60% of those. Rest is pictures (stalking girls on FB or instagram haha) and the good ole fantasy.
    I guess I have a too tight grip which isn´t helpful long-term.
And I´m wanking for about 10 years. 26 years now.

    How about this?

What if try NoFap for two weeks and see if I get any flatline symptoms?
Because I remember tampering with NoFap two years ago and I had some erection issues which led me to say f** that and went on my way...

Asides from that Morning Wood is a thing of the past and enjoyment of sex is actually not that impressive either. And some anxiety issues over the last couple of years which is pretty untypical for me (but has clearly other reasons besides PMO as well)

    Thoughts?

Thanks in advance... you perverts!! ;-)

By all means try it, but you'll have to go longer than 2 weeks to feel the benefits. try to go at least a month and see how you're finding it. You will get bad days, but at the end of the month, you be the judge.

First of all: Awwww thank you<3

Second: If I were you I would try it for a bit more than two weeks. Try it for at least 2 months, I remember that I just felt like shit the first weeks of trying to abstain, but after a while, I felt more energised etc. (Even though it wasn't a "clean record", that'll say I relapsed, but still noticed changes).

I feel you, my first try with NoFap was before I knew about this community, last year in July I think. I got to 13 days and then I relapsed, thinking that the benefits were not "worth it" (in spite of feeling more confident). I was approaching the issue in a bad way, you know, I did not do anything new with the energy and I just thought it would be kind of "magical". Although I think that semen retention and getting rid of porn are really key to a lot of things, I was in the wrong mindset. I needed to wait and do something else.

When I came by this site on December I did some things with my life like getting rid of social media and using the time and energy to my advantage. When I went over one month I started feeling that inner peace that many talk about, and I was ok with many things in my life. When I relapsed on May I understood the changes I had gone through, finally. I binged for some time and my energy faded away so quickly... It was just so bad, the porn I mean, that after every session I felt like sh*t. Also 6 seconds of pleasure in exchange of your potential was not a good trade.

Be open to the possibilities, as @I Need Help said, you be the judge afterwards.

You admitted that your past experience with NoFap left you with erection issues. From my experience, that was a precursor to my PIED a couple of years later. So even though you don't see any "hard case" issues now, just know that continued use leads to eventual problems that you'll wish you'd addressed earlier.
