Hello I was wondering if any one out there has some ideas of good ways to distract yourself when you get the urdge to watch porn or masturbate. Thanks

Is there a screen in front of you? Turn it off. Generally, removing yourself from the situation is the best course of action. Leave your house or wherever you might happen to be. Run from it metaphorically speaking. I found myself in a situation where I couldn't really go anywhere. So when I got the urge, I turned off my phone. I turned off my computer. I even turned off my internet router. Anything that had a screen I turned off. I started to cook some food. You can do what you like. But make sure it is something where you work with your hands.

Yeah, I'm a big supporter of getting out of your house/apartment. Anything that gets me out around other human beings--even if I'm just in a coffee shop by myself, but with other patrons around--is a big help.

An isolated activity--like reading or guitar, for instance--is better than nothing, but I personally find that the urges come back up and it gets very easy for me to set the book down and look at P. If I get out of the house, the fact that I can't view P usually makes it easier for the urges to pass without relapse.

    Doesn't matter. Work out anyway.

Believe me, I'm preaching to myself here, too. If you only work out when you want to, you'll only do it sporadically at best. If you read my post in the 40+ section titled "Total lack of motivation", you'll see where I write about how "good actions drive good feelings." Often, we're waiting around to feel better about ourselves before we take positive action. But the reality is the other way around--we need to take positive action in order to feel better about ourselves.
