Should I tell my therapist/psychologist? Anyone has advice?

Well done Donnie Darko. I know how difficult it is to voice this stuff to people face to face. I saw a therapist a few years ago and I had to tell him about porn, chat sites, dressing up. I am 40 and that was still really difficult.

Also, although lots of people are asking, don't feel obliged to report back from every therapy session just because people want to know what the therapist says. Therapy is a very private thing and you shouldn't feel under pressure to undergo therapy on behalf of lots of P addicts who either can't afford to go to therapy or who are too afraid to.

Anyone who wants online therapy should perhaps search for something suitable on Google. I just had a look and there are quite a few different options ranging through free, cheap and professional.

Thanks, I know therapy is a very private thing but I don't mind sharing general advice/knowledge that I learn from it.

I recently realised that my addiction to porn might be the reason for my depression and social anxiety. Currently I'm seeing a therapist that's helping me deal with this and I'm a little hesitate to tell him that I'm addicted to porn for the obvious reason that it will be awkward/ embarrassing. Of course you should tell, that is what a therapist is for !
