I know that it's none of my business but please treat yourself better and have more respect for yourself when it comes to sex. I don't to see women being disrespected like this.

 

Yes women shouldn't be debased like that.

It might be helpful, after you take a break from PMO for a while, to find someone supportive to talk to about your values toward sex. At least in my culture (and I mean that as a subset of my society's culture), there is nothing debasing or disrespectful in any of the ways in which two (consenting) adults give one another pleasure. If they are touching one another in love, then they are free to explore how their bodies work together.

 

Why do you say oral sex is "debasing" @aarondf?

 

Its disgusting. If anyone engages in that, they have no respect for God and themselves.

 

Oh, dear. Well, you're missing out. I certainly don't feel debased when *I* do it. Quite the opposite: It's intimate and an honor.

 

Ah. Sorry I hadn't looked at your profile. It's hard to communicate across cultures (and generations) about taboos. I would have qualified what I have said by reiterating that in my culture--and certainly as a gay man who drew up in the american gay community in the 1980s--the taboos on particular lovemaking techniques are quite different, especially in respect to this one, which is pretty standard and widely enjoyed by adults of many ages and orientations here and in other parts of the world.

I meant no disrespect to your country.

Lets not get into specifics about sex. I feel uncomfortable talking about that stuff.

 

It is a personal preference and also God created s to be just the normal way.

The normal way, yes, I agree. Let me use an unrelated topic to illustrate this:

God said that we should eat and drink, indeed, we need to do so to remain alive. We can agree that gluttony is not the normal way to do this. In fact, there are numerous scriptures specifically stating that gluttony is a serious sin against Him. The Israelites gorging on the quail meat he provided in the wilderness and the resulting scourge demonstrates that.

Did he say there was a normal way of eating food? No, but we know that our original ancestors were not provided with metal cutlery and a set of napkins. So, are chopsticks normal? Yes, if you live in South East Asia. But they are not my preference, 'cos I'm kinda clumsy, lol.

Do we eat the same diet as our original parents; the faithful men of old (remember Job was oriental); first century Christians etc? I doubt it. I bet you and I have many variations in our daily diet because our countries are far apart. But that does not mean that what you eat or what I eat is not normal.

So, how can you say that what you referred to earlier is not normal from God's point of view?

 

That type of stuff could never be normal. It's disgusting and debasing. just uhhhhh... disgusting. God would never create body parts to be used like that. I know that I cant give you a verse but...

 

I suppose I would use the same words if somebody asked me about the Turkish delicacy of Sheep eyes. Apparently, they are delicious. But I cannot give a verse for that one and I would have to say it is only my personal preference that makes me recoil with disgust... Urgh!
