Here's what i want you to do ... ( if you can )

Discussion in 'Porn Addiction' started by Xander_, Jun 25, 2014.

  1. Hi ...i just relapsed few minutes ago and i still belive that i can make it.
However while i was looking at porn and i've wondering do that girls who are in porn vids enjoy in that stuff, same goes for guys in it.
So one idea came up in my mind ...if anyone of you here knows something which will make me look totally different on porn.
By that i mean something that will make porn not interesting, disgusting, bad in my eyes.
I know that this strategy wont work perfectly but it will keep me some extra days without porn and it could be extra turn off next time if i went into relapse.

So do everything what will make porn something lame!!

    Thanks :D

I liked his description of porn as "filmed prostitution." Because let's be honest, these women aren't being paid $5000 a day (or more) for their acting ability.

One thing I've tried to do in order to detach from porn is to humanize the porn star by thinking about her family or the people who might be worried about her. I'll think about her dreams, her insecurities, and what void in her life (financial, emotional, or otherwise) led her to porn. Even if I'm totally wrong in my envisioning of her, it prevents me from seeing her just as a sex object.

    Best of luck, man!

  5. thevisualedge thank you i think this one will work ..alot of turnoff questions are coming up in my mind
    Brilliant

  6. Suicide is common among porn stars, much more with the females. A lot of them do not want that lifestyle, but for most women it's easy money. Some of them say they enjoy it, but there's a lot of pain being hidden away.

It's also common that many female porn stars were sexually abused when they were children and use their porn career as an escape from their inner demons.

There is a lot of abuse in porn. A lot of it is not even 'sex'. It's all fantasy, it's an allusion before your eyes.

I could write a whole essay on the topic.

Do we really need to break down the ins and outs of porn? (no pun intended)

It is what it is. It's a quick fix to satisfy selfish needs, while watching men treat women like a mere object. It distorts the mind to what real love making is.

After my relapse, I generated a great amount of psychological trauma by reading ex-pornstar stories. While it did strengthen my resolve, the trauma generated was way too great. It took me 3 days to really snap out of it. I would not recommend it unless you are emotionally badass. A wise guy said

If you are thinking about not watching porn, you are thinking about porn...

In order to stop thinking about porn...I need you to stop thinking about sex, women and lust in general. Look at all of them gals around you in a decent normal way.
And do this in your entire reboot. Not like me. I put up a wallpaper of my fav actress and I started experiencing some serious withdrawals.
Fight the withdrawals. You can't fap to anything that arouses you. That is a waste of time and libido and you need to start your reboot all over again.

Go through this reboot only once. That is what I always tell myself. That is what keeps me away from fapping.
Tell yourself Its been so many days I didn't PMO so I better not do it now or I better not do it today. Today is a clean day. I don't know about tomorrow. I might PMO. But today I am not going to.
And stay so busy with productive work that you don't get time to think about your reboot and PMO withdrawals and stuff.

Get serious on this reboot. Remove all the posters and hot pictures away because it'll trigger you. And don't act like a coward by fapping whenever you get triggered like -''its not my fault I got triggered". :|

Again..Go through this reboot thing only once. And staying away from technology helps a lot.

I lived in LA for a number of years.
the porn capital of the world.
I was so addicted I actually did some meet and greets, got invited to other things.
    The girls are train wrecks.
They don't make much money and are as addicted to the orgasm as we are to porn. And that's bad.
The guys are all addicted to viagra. many are hard core druggies, and they make no money. None.
The owners of these companies are like pimps. They're filthy rich, but they know exactly what they are doing and are like drug pushers.
"Oh, masturbating is healthy and normal"
    Actual words.
Do the opposite of what they say.
    Take my word for it.

  10. Really good guys i apprechiate it ...yea it also went trough my mind that since whole world is crazy about money, that those porn industries are promoting porn and masturbation as something healthy while giving money to companies to promote it, maybe? So we the porn addicts could turn to porn over and over again and they make money again and then whole thing repeats ..

Something that has been eye-opening for me is thinking about how much effort goes into each shoot. There's a stylist, lighting crew, editing, etc. These girls are artificially made to look better on film than they really are in real life. That, and the fact that they are being paid large amounts of money to perform the sex acts. There's a difference in the "enthusiasm" that a porn actress or actor would be falsely giving while filming (which is their job) and the amount of enthusiasm that an actual sex partner would have. This is probably taboo around here but sometimes if I feel temped to look at porn I'll follow through with it just to watch and look for things I don't like about it. How fake she is acting, how fake her breasts are, the sympathy I have for her. I've been praying for God to remove how highly aroused I get by porn and it's really been helping so far.

Just think to yourself that as you are looking at some porn star you are looking at someone else's future wife. Do you really want to lust after another man's wife? Think about it. I for one do not want some other man looking at my naked wife. That's just wrong and disgusting.

Good question Xander. What I do sometimes is just remembering how pretty is to touch a woman dedicatedly, slowly, felling every little contact between your fingers and her skin; or how pretty was my first kiss when I was young and lips were getting close very very slow. Its a precious, really precious moment, maybe the best "movie" I have lived in my live. If you think on that while seeing porn, you will notice that every porn actors are loosing that beauty, and the violence of every skin contact seems just disgusting, without charm..and all that fantastic and precious slow "movie" becomes a horrible act of nothing. I had works for me...at least some times. Thank you all guys for being here....this is really helpful.

Would it work if you thought about the stuff you see being done to you? I don't know if guys can imagine themselves as women, especially when you have that whole 'don't be such a girl' thing when you're little. But could you imaging having to dance around for a camera like a trained seal? Or being treated roughly by someone stronger than you? Or being told what do by someone else, no matter how you felt about it? Or copping a money shot to the face? I could go on but i'm sure I don't have to.

It's actually sad to see anyone, in this forum, come on here trying to defend the realities of the porn industry.
    They don't make good money.
There's no effort put into the set.
    They're treated like objects.
And the industry is one giant drug cartel.

  17. I was really thinking about what you wrote here ...and i really got into it god knows what those female pornstars are into

Sorry - it's not about what they're into, it's about what you're into. What they're into is responding to market demand and getting paid.

    Quite right, rewired.

So here's an idea for generating an image that induces the desired disgust... (Sorry, but you might have to actually do this to achieve the full effect.)
    [NSFW]
Next time you're too tempted to PMO to resist, just film the entire event. Get a nice wide camera angle on you, your face included and everything else going on. Save it, and watch the video sometime when you're not horny. After question time, hard delete it.

Ask: Do you like this image of yourself? Is that the person you want to be? How would you feel if that video were in the hands of a distributor, and anyone who could pay could watch it? Or if it were free? How would you feel if someone who knew you watched it? Or if it were generally known, and followed you into every new relationship? If it would always be out there, and possibly your yet-unborn grandchildren might stumble across it one day?
    [/NSFW]
That's probably a taste of what former porn stars have to deal with afterward. I imagine it affects the way they look at their career, and the possible options they have for coping with the impact, emotionally.
