So, I'm about a week into getting my freedom. I went through withdrawals pretty bad the first two to three days. But then, yesterday and the day before I barely felt a thing. I actually thought that I was done with withdrawals. I don't know whats going on, but today they've come back with a vengeance. I feel a little crazy, and my mouth feels pretty strange. Almost like I've been clinching my jaws without realizing it. Plus, there's this strange almost acidic taste in my mouth. I'm sure there's some scientific reason for all of this. I'm gonna go do some push-ups, and I really need to get my bike fixed/get a new one. Oh, and I would like to say, this counter really helps. I almost caved a few times. But, the thought of resetting this counter makes me feel like I'm tapping out in front of the whole wide world. I really hate losing.
Keep on it man! I agree with the counter, admittingly I've only made it about 20 or so days before I've had to reset (unfortunately this hasn't included edging, I know this is something I must deal with on my own. We all know how bad withdraws can get, but I don't know if the mouth thing or the acidic taste have anything to do with it.
The counter is great alright. The withdrawal period is crap indeed. The craziness I can relate to. Part of the rewiring. Don't know about the taste thing. The difficult times will come and go. Just try to deal with each one as best as you can. They do get easier but every once in a while you will get vicious ones like I am at the moment on day 38!!.
