Hey guys, So I just have one main question.. I usually find it a lot more difficult to focus and concentrate if I don't masturbate as opposed to when I do. So I am just worried that I will find it difficult to get things done if I stop masturbating. What do you guys think and have you had any experiences you could share ? I know I am addicted to tinder, talking to girls on social media, watching porn etc. I usually always masturbate to porn and I sometimes find myself on my phone for hours talking to girls. I usually check my phone first thing in the morning and sometimes even in the middle of the night if I happen to wake up...I know that all of this isn't healthy so that's why I'm here.
Step One - Leave your phone in another room before you go to bed. You may find yourself the way you are because you are always high on dopamine, the body's chemical that is released when we O. There will be a period where your concentration will be off but like all addicts, that is a part of the healing process.
Well, I decided to stop rewarding myself for doing nothing. So I will use things that I like doing to reward myself after doing work. I have also begun exercising and meditating and ease back into it quite slowly, so it's not too much. This might sound silly, but I am motivated about clearing my face from spots and growing a beard, so I have convinced myself that the extra testosterone in my body will help stimulate hair growth and I am hugely focused on that. I will also plan to spend as much time as possible with other people rather than being in my room alone which could make it easier for me relapse. Do you have any other recommendations ?
