    Hello all,
I'm just about to hit 1 year porn-free but I still haven't fully recovered from my PIED!

A little background on my situation: I've been PMOing since discovering porn at the age of 12. Since then I was hooked, PMOing at least once a day after getting home from school. I noticed I was becoming dependent on porn to get an erection around the age of 16, but I thought there was no way it was due to porn because it's natural.. or so I thought.

I started looking into porn use causing ED when I was 19 after I couldn't even get it up to porn! After struggling for a while I managed to get rid of porn use forever.

I'm about to hit a year now but starting to worry because I still have problems with getting it up. Granted, I'll still MO without porn, probably an average of once a week because I figured it's porn that's causing the problem.

Now where I'm at, I'm able to get it up with physical stimulation on a good day but I'm usually lacking that libido to go fuck someone. Even when I'm about to hook up with a chick I feel like I'm just going through the motions instead of feeling like I have to get it in her. It's really discouraging that some of my friends talk about getting a boner like it's nothing, like if a girl sat on their lap or something.

I've definitely noticed an improvement over this past year, but I still have days where it's completely dead. On the bright side, most of the time when I wake up I have a rock hard boner and am horny as fuck, but that doesn't transfer to the rest of the day.

I feel like I'm really hitting a brick wall with this and don't know where to go from here. Any thoughts?

I think you should abstain from MO for a longer time.
Try going for 2 weeks see how that works out, maybe even longer a month or two.

I will definitely try this, thanks. Hopefully I will eventually be cured of this. It's hard to keep up hope after a year but what other choice do I have haha.

From what I have read, there seems to be no exact time table for recovery. For each person is different. I completely agree you should abstain from MO. Keep up the fantastic work though and now you did quite an accomplishment to get this far!
