Religion is a good thing when it can help people to be more discipline, to get a better control of themself, even if it based on fear of the unknown (heaven/reward or hell/torture). It's terrible thing when people use religion to justified killing each other or hate each other.

Maybe for you that is a joke but there is some guys in this community that believe in God and hell and when they read that you wrote they gonna fell very bad because you attack they believies. They issue here is to be free anyone from PMO, if someone help to be away from porn because believe in the hell issue or someone believe that Allah or Krishna will set him free, what is wrong with that and why you are mock them? The strongest and the smartest guys in community they must help and stands with the weak not tell them how weak they are, if you now what i mean. Well, if you're religious, how can you have fear of the unknown, if there is no unknown ? You die, you go to heaven or hell; If you're religious, you know what's going to happen to you. So i didn't get what you meant

 

Religion is always trying to answer the unknown. Hell/Heaven is part of the unknown aspect of human life, to gave us a certainties that what we do will have concequences. Even if you believe in Hell/Heaven or any form of afterlife, doesn't guarantee that they're really there waiting for you. The one sure good thing about being religious person is that after you die people will remember that you were a good person & believe that you belong to heaven (even it it's not exist).
