As the title states i have not gotten morning wood for several years. I am still able to get hard with the use the porn but it has been increasingly diificult. Every post i view i see that people never mention morning wood or only lost it during the reboot process. I wanted to write this to see if this is common and if so how long this took to come back. I have tried nofap before and noticed great results, albeit not with morning wood but with constant errections throughout the day. I have failed time and time again but recently decided enough is enough after getting into a relationship and having issues getting up. It is soul crushing to wonder if my guy is gonna cooperate. The first few attempts i was noticeably larger and full at all times during the day. Right now im about 2 weeks in and i havent had any urges and it just feels lifeless. I believe im in a flatline which i know i can push through but its hard to believe this can get any better.
The guy will get better! I hardly ever get morning wood. I got it twice 1-2 weeks ago and that's been it for a long time (AFAIK.) [20/m/straight/on day 35 hard mode]
You all might want to check out the link: https://www.nofap.com/forum/index.php?forums/porn-induced-sexual-dysfunctions.29/ I started getting occasional morning wood in less than a week of hard mode. I find going to bed earlier helps, but I credit most of it to a change in what I watch, combined with a feeling of success from not failing. I am older, so morning wood won't pound nails, but I had forgotten what it felt like. It is awesome to remember.
I get regular 60% hard morning wood (never in my life had 100%!). Get good, regular, and enough sleep.
Thanks for the reply fellas. yeah, im mid 20s and i honestly think its been as far back as hs since i got regular morning wood. even then it was still never 100%. hormone panels came back fine aside from slightly elevated prolactin but not high enough to affect this as far as i know. i just wasnt sure if nofap could help return this or if it could be a physical issue. Thanks!
