    Rather than thinking about it as something that needs to be released in a burst of energy, what about relaxing the body and mind and allowing it to just drift away? It sounds like your problem is that when you get bored, sexual thoughts arise in your mind and you might become preoccupied with them. This is a slippery slope and can be very frustrating. I suggest giving meditation a try if you don't do it already. It will teach you how to have power over your thoughts and bodily sensations, and science shows that it greatly boosts the brain's ability to create new neural pathways.

    You're right about the fact that the appear only when I'm bored/preoccupied with them.Honestly that is exactly why I'm slowly fading away from this website cause It's like a little reminder of it.Sounds intresting ,doesn't it ?

    I know this topic is an old one but i think the respond may help others visiting this url.
    Hi andrew i exactly know how you felt when you posted and maybe how you feel now, lets back to your first post :

    And whats wrong about this sentence ? You just described how you felt and not just you but many of us, the problem comes from expectations. What you expected is finishing pain which is bothering you with relapse, you dont want to relapse but when pain goes up releasing it looks like a better idea, its wrong, relapsing is not going to release the pain but only postpone this type of pain, isnt this exact feeling you felt previouse time when you were full and needed some release and relapsed ? If releasing semen by fapping is an effective way to deal with this problem so why your feeling it again ?(and you will feel again if you relapse now). By seeing what really happened and is happening we can teach our emotions whats good and whats bad, whats true and whats just an illusion

    Hello guys just read this thread and I feel I can give some advice. At least what seems to work for me.

    I'm on day 21. What has helped me a lot the past 2 weeks is tai chi and active meditation, which is a form of movement like random dancing. Also breathing exercises. Once or twice a day after and before sleep.

    I would disagree with doing push-ups or any strength exercise when you have urges because you probably overtrain, considering that you normally train 3-4 days per week. I normally train 4-5 days and sometimes I feel I can't lift a finger, but urges keep coming, so I guess "it" doesn't care how tired you are when "it" is hungry.

    Also try to get informed on how past philosophies and cultures have tried to deal with is. NoFap has been a struggle for thousands of years, and has got many names during the centuries. From ancient Spartans and Pythagorians to Chinese and Indians semen retention and control of oneself was always a problem/achievement.

    Set your mind accordingly. It is an energy almost impossible to harness. Almost.

    Relapsed relapsed relapsed....but why? you should always remember each and every second the purpose why you start this NoFap life lstyle...No PMO should be like a burning fire with in the veins for the beginners... just imagine the benifits of no pmo...and try to fantasie these benifits...think that you are unique...and set a strong goal..try to work on it...In fact as you are in the begning stage i give my personal advise to self satisfy your brain..WHENEVER YOU ARE REALLY REALLY URGED JUST SWITCH ON TV OR PC WATCH ANY SONG OR PROGRAMME OF ANY LADY ARTISTS AND LOOK AT THE BEAUTY OF THOSE ARTISTS AND ADMIRE IT FEEL IT AND JUST THINK ABOUT THE ONE OF THE BENIFITS OF NoFap THAT YOU CAN ATTRACT MORE GIRLS LIKE THOSE BY HOOKING UP TO NoFap LIFE STYLE.ALL I NEED TO TELL IS SATISFY YOURSELF BY ONE WAY OR THE OTHER .THIS WILL EVENTUALLY HELPS TO GET OUT OF PMO AT THE SAME TIME WHEN YOU ARE GETTING SATISFIED TRY TO IMAGINE YOUR FUTURE TO THE BENIFITS OF NoFap.

    I know it is a bit late for replying to this but i think this might help you.
    The thing about release is that every time you relapse, write down what made you relapse and write the solution to it.
    I know the answer is too simple but you need to have a goal system already, in written or in your mind and know that each day of NoFap is bringing you closer to it.
    Also consider following some groups over here and creating a reddit account and following the NoFap subreddit. Believe me, the stuff that they post over there is very much motivating.
