Really need help!!!!!! Ok, so I am new here and I would like some advice on quitting porn. I have tried many times but failed. I discovered porn when I was 16 and next month, I will turn 18 so I have been struggling with this problem for almost two years..... Any advice would definitely be appreciated. I think my problem is that I stay home all day after school and my parents won't let me go outside because I live in a dangerous neighborhood so I desperately need to find a way to quit this addiction once and for all. Please help me watching porn has caused a lot of negative effects in my life
Hi I'm sorry to say, but you'll never be abel to quit alone. I'm struggling with this problem for 10 years now. I had a a clear time for 4 month = 120 days. I read the book called: The naked truth by Bill Perkins. This book was great! I got answers for my questions. I started to live without porn, and I really enjoyed life. The problem was, that I thought I'm not an addict anymore. That's why I failed. We can't fight alone. You should find an SLAA group, or find Jesus Christ. Both can help. I wish you the best!
I am Christian and go to church regularly but lately haven't been praying since I'm also going through a tough time right now so I somehow have given up on God

Decide why you want to quit, get a strong reason not a weak one, this will help you when you are unsure and triggered. Get a plan and create some goals. Get a life outside of the computer. Work out and go for runs. If you are religious, get that connection back. But I get where you are, you see you can;t love anybody, even god if you don;t love yourself. You need to realise that you are a miracle like we all are and you are worth the greatest love of all Good luck bro, this is so worth it
