My partner has given me a challenge. Surprise her for 30 days straight. It started because she felt unappreciated. I had done things in the past to hurt her and she didn't think I was I love with her as much as I use to be. She had asked me to surprise her before, but I had made excuses, such as work, lack of money and no time to do anything. But the 30 day challenge, I feel like I'm up for the task. I had a few rules too. no surprise was to be phone related. I had no limit to what I could do. something small to something big. it just had to be about her. not me. An addition to the 30 day surprise, she also asked that it continues when the 30 days is up. after the 30 days, I have to surprise her once a month for a year, then once a year. it's not much, once a year so I plan to do more then once a year. This will help me concentrate on her rather then any form of porn or anything that may hurt her. it will also show that I am dedicated to our relationship. I am currently on day 9 of my 30 day challenge. its still morning so I have time to do something for today. Here is a list of what I have done so far. Day 1 - I Bought her perfume Day 2 - I had a no phone today. (trust me, it was hard. I'm a gamer at heart and I use my phone to play games.) Day 3 - I dedicated a song to her. Bruno Mars - Treasure. Day 4 - Sent a poem via txt. Because it was from my phone, my partner also asked for a foot rub. Day 5 - Bought a pack of V energy drink. I placed them in the passanger side seat of the car and when she got into the car, she saw them. Day 6 - I made an origami star for her. Day 7 - being fathers day (in Australia) I was given a pass. but I still gave her a 30 minute massage. Day 8 - I bought her a toy seal from woolworths. she has like seals for a while now so it seemed appropriate to buy iy, especially after she saw it and said how cute it looked. I'm still at the early stages of the challenge. I do have a few more ideas up my sleeve but I don't want to write them on here, only because she is also I member on NoFap and she might see this thread and ruin the surprise. If anyone has any ideas that I can do, I appricate the help. Thanks
I like this challenge. Here are some ideas: Coffee mug with her favorite animal. Tickets to one of her favorite bands. Wash/detail her car. Make a scrapbook filled with fun memories and times you've had and things which make you think of her and how awesome she is. Dinner at a new restaurant. Experience a new culture together. Showing up with a bouquet of her favorite flowers. Make her favorite meal Take her with you to get a manicure/pedicure Invite her to accompany you during something you like to do. Taker her dancing. If you can't dance then go to dance classes together. Take her on a shopping spree. Go to an art gallery, symphony, or opera. Bring her breakfast in bed.
Surprise picnic. One of the most beautiful things my ex girlfriend ever did for me was write a 100 special reasons why she loved me on separate cards, one reason a-piece, using nice nice paper. She strung then together using string, and surprised me with it. It doesn't have to be 100, it could be a lesser number. Such as, 30 or 50 but you do that for your girlfriend and she will feel loved indeed.
I can attest to this. I did this for my girl's 27th birthday and she's kept it ever since. I didn't think she kept it either, but she showed me it after I took her out for her 32nd b-day.
Not sure if this is healthy but i kept my exes "100 reasons" and we have been broken up for ten years, and she is now married in another country.
Well I think the healthiness will depend on your motives for why you've kept it. If you've kept it because it helps you remember that you have worth and talents, then I don't see it as unhealthy. If you've kept it because you still hold hope you two will get back together, then I would say it's pretty unhealthy. Same for if you've kept it for both reasons. ------------------------------------------- @ryanc Make her a mix cd with her favorite songs Sing to her your song, even if you suck at singing. Usually there are fairs going on at this time so take her to one! Maybe find one of the photo booths where you get the strip of snap shots of the both of you. If she has a favorite radio station call them and dedicate a message/song to her. Go have a trophy made that says "Worlds Most Amazing Woman." Get matching shirts made that proclaim your love for each other and wear it in public. Show up to her work with flowers and take her to lunch.
I don't have a surprise suggestion but if you really want to make her feel loved I would suggest you to read or listen the audiobook of "The 5 Love Languages" by Gary Chapman.. It's a wonderful book that opened my eyes to a deeper understanding of love(although I'm just 19 yo)

Hello everyone. Here is an update of what I have been doing. day 9 - I wrote a poem for my partner. I also gave a foot massage as a bonus. day 10 - I picked a flower from the garden. day 11 - Bought my partner some chocolate from Aldi's day 12 - I bought some coffee flavoured sweeteners. Carmel and Hazelnut. day 13 - Bought a coffee mug saying "My children have the best mum ever. True story." day 14 - Today I had a pass. I helped her father with some issues he had so I was given a pass. But I gave her a foot massage anyway. I will continue to update this post.
day 15 - Bought my partner some flowers day 16 - Made cream caramel desert day 17 - Cooked a big breakfast today. eggs, bacon, hash brown, sausage, mushroom and toasted bread day 18 - Bought a crazy monkey from Kmart day 19 - Gave a voucher for a back rub day 20 - gave a voucher for head massage day 21 - gave a voucher for foot massage day 22 - gave a voucher for a shoulder/neck rub day 23 - gave a voucher for a phone free day day 24 - gave my partner a written poem in an envelope day 25 - bought some chocolate for my partner day 26 - bought a hot water bottle. hers recently broke day 27 - bought a charity bandana for my partner. well, i'm nearly finished my 30 day challenge. will keep everyone up to date with hoe I finish and also what I will continue to do. thanks
