Hello fellow fapstronauts! Ok so here is the run down, I'm 25 years old and I really want to start my own online business selling music that I make on the computer (beats/instrumentals). Right now I am a stay at home dad and my wife is currently working so I home majority of the week with my son. I really want to run this online business but PMO really gets in the way of me building the business. From the brain fog to the low energy/low motivation, PMO really is effecting my life and my work. Any tips on how to stick to what you love to do and keep a PMO free streak?
Replace bad habbits with new ones. It's all about motivation and dedication. If you want to get off PMO, and start something for yourself, you have to find the inner energy to do what you really want. You can't want something for 50%. Go for it man. Since i've quit (for some time now) i'm finding myself some great ideas im insanely working out. So it's just about doing, making the right plans and go for it man. Goodluck to you.
Thank you for the reply Magetrip! I've been pretty much giving 50% to alot of things my whole life from exercising to becoming my greatest version. It's hard for me to stay dedicated to something that I really want to do because I also get side tracked and put my energy towards something that won't make me grow. I dont know if PMO is the total culprit of it but majority it is in my opinion. And another thing that is hard for me is putting things into action. For instance starting my online business. I was super excited when I told myself that I'm going to start an online business but doubt crept up on me and starting planting seeds in my head. And that has been happening for the longest time which is not taking action and living life to my fullest potential.
Install K9 software on your computer. Avoid looking at the computer too late at night also helps. Well it helps me. Also what would help a great deal is when you are at home leave your door open if you access the internet there and try to have the computer in the living room.
I've just become self-employed for just over 3 months now. My advice: keep yourself so busy that it'll almost be impossible to think about anything else. For instance: 2 weeks ago, I had 4 deadlines to meet and because they were on the forefront of my mind and these were all paid jobs - I could think of nothing other than getting the money into my account and doing a good job with them all.
This is what I'm TRYING to do. Right now I'm building this business from the ground up so its going to take a good while to make some income from it. But thank you for your reply
