30 Day Nofap - Any tips would help

    I'm new to this, so thirty days is my starting goal. If I can make the first thirty days, I'll go for longer. I'll keep this as up to date as possible. Normally I relapse at about one or two weeks, does anyone have any advice to help prevent a relapse?

    I'm at 12 days and exercise will prevent a relapse
    Most urges u get u caused cuz u seeked it out and just prior to fapping Uve justified it in ur mind with boredom or if Uve been successful for a week, u might say I need to reward myself..
    So urges are voluntary and involuntary.. The steps or process that leads to M starts with a voluntary or involuntary first sexual thoughts and then it leads to more thoughts in which u dabble in, and u make a justification and then u fap..
    Regardless of which kind of thought it is, attack that first thought every time throughout ur journey and things wont snowball...
    Attack it by saying "fuck off" to the thought or if that's to negative say "come on!"
    U might get another thought that hits u seconds or minutes later, consider it a first thought and do the same thing..
    I don't regard fapping a relapse, I regard conscious dabbling in these thoughts that leads u really close of reaching the treshold of wanting to fap a relapse..

    Thank you, I couldn't have described it better myself! The first thing that I want to say is, thank you for the advice! It's all really helpful. So, I've actually been wondering if exercise might be able to help. I guess that means I'll get to kill two birds with one stone! So, should I exercise when I feel the urge, or at a certain time of day? And that's a really good mindset to have. I'll try to keep that in mind. Also, congratulations on 12 days! Good luck on your journey.

    Well most people don't say on the spot, I'm gonna go exercise.. If u were at a coffee shop studying or something and u were getting an urge, u probably won't get up and go exercise.. Just have a general everyday workout routine.. I exercise almost all day everyday cuz I'm a professional athlete.. This "come on" method works in terms of all aspects of life for which u need motivation... I do a hard 30 min bike workout and I say come on every time I get that "urge" that "first thought of weakness," or "justifications" and I slap the handlebar hard and if u workout this hard with cardio, ull feel this higher level of consciousness while u do it, people will be in awe of u and also they'll say "I can't do that".. This is advice on making ur workouts harder not nofap but it relates to discipline as I have had limited involuntary urges because of my mental stretchy and any voluntary first thought I have a realize it immediately and stop
