useful apps

Discussion in 'Self Improvement' started by hungarianpmowarrior, Mar 21, 2016.

  1. Hi,

these apps are useful tools to hijack your mind from triggering.
    - Google Calendar, Google Keep and Inbox for Gmail - for your to-dos, rearranging your daily/weekly schedule
    - Fabulous - Motivate me! : a motivation app to reshake your days, rewire your entire daily habits
    - Sleep as android - ...or any other app which helps you in a good sleep
    - and a game you love - only for emergency, if you have triggers just play a bit... it will decrease your carvings

    Great tips!
I really like the app 'Goal Tracker' (for Android). It lets you define your goals/tasks and check if you completed/performed them each day. It has been really helpful to me to stay in the right path of nofap.

Any ideas on which software is the best porn screener?

I used to use such software in the mid 2005, but wanted to know what you guys think.

  5. Another good app for Android:

Do you mean web filter? I used to uae k9 before.
Search for "web filter" extensions if u use firefoz or chrome.

Negative screen is a good software for pc. It inverts the color that protect u from all pics or videos triggers. Also blocking all images on browers is another good way to avoid triggers.

I have no apps for this rebooting/rewiring. Plus I only have an iPod Touch so it is not going to always have internet access all the time.

My music and book reader apps are all I need. My music helps immensely with my workouts. My book reader apps help me with all the books I want to read. These apps all help keep me mentally sharp, motivated, focused and disciplined. I know I am under two weeks in with this rebooting/rewiring but it has come to a point where I am not so stressed focused on how many days I am clean. It just comes naturally.

My favorite app is one called NFCompanion for Android. It keeps track of relapses, and number of days since last relapse. It also rewards you with badges the longer you succeed.

  10. 'pzizz' is also an app for sleep. You can use it for both deep sleep and power naps. It was suggested in lifehacker.

Anyone know of an app that would 'lock or vault' information for a period of time? Only allowing you to access the information between a given window - think this would help me with my Skype account.
