    Hi guys,

I am quite new to the site & am trying to conquer P & PMO once & for all. I never seem to stop for long enough to see any real benefits (a few days or a week) - so I then just fall back into the cycle.

I just wondered for people that have stopped watching P or have cut down on PMO for long periods, what kind of benefits have you felt & in what kind of time periods / milestones did you see them?

What benefits did you guys see after a week / two weeks / a month / year etc? These could be mental / physical / confidence / physical strength (I am interested in this as I weight train) / social?

I understand everyone is different & one months benefits for one person may be different for others but it would be good to see what benefits can be achieved after certain periods of time! It would also help make me more determined to get to these milestones to see if I can feel the same!

    Thanks guys

    Yo jad,

I am on day 14 hardmode, no pmo, no edging. Although i have had sex thrice during this period. Have to say starting days are quite hard. But things that are keeping me going are mediation, weight training and yea sex :p

I have an important exam coming up this weekend and i read online how to use your sexual energy to manifest. After reading many blogs about it I can easily keep my hands off my crotch. I focus that sexual energy into things that i want to get done.

My concentration has not increased so much but I am more willing to take action and I can remember better. My days are going more organised. Honestly after meditation and hitting the gym I FEEL AWESOME! I eat clean food and now a days I don`t even feel like browsing through P sites :p

When I am out on the streets a few women notice me, even sometimes men stare at me :p The longest i have gone is 21 days. hoping to break the record which i know i will.

I feel more positive and enthusiastic. I`m starting to love my life.

    Keep Hustling!
    Good Luck Mate :)

    Hi Palo,

Thanks for your reply, I understand & your English is very good! That's interesting about having more energy & a clearer head / brain working properly! I have read this before - these are the kind of things which I look forwards to & fight for! Especially after 40 days that's also good. Like you say it is good to spend your time chatting to real people rather than looking a PC screen. 40 days was good, well done! Keep it going man, I wish you the best too.

    Hi nrque,

Thanks mate, I am also going hardmode on pmo & edging. I think that's the best way to do it - if I do one of edging or PMO it leads to the other anyway so a total quit is what I am after. I don't really see sex as an issue, some may disagree, but from what I have read about the effects on the brain, the main issue is Porn & addiction, that's the thing to break. I reckon sex is normal human to human, not PMO or P. Just the way I see it.

Focusing your energy into exams etc is cool man, nice one. If you think about it, exams are worth a lot more to you & your future! I should think the same way about work, & try to focus more on that - the trouble I get is stress, which leads me to relapse but it is what I am working on & hopefully as time goes on it'll get easier & I'll find better ways to deal with it. I agree that the first few days are the toughest, I only ever get to a week or ten days then fail. So I am a couple days in right now am kind of dreading that week mark, & so I joined this site to try get through it when the time comes.

Awesome about the energy for the gym. I love the gym, it is another addiction which I also use to combat stress of work. I need my gym determination to transfer to this issue! Plus I eat pretty clean these days because of the gym. If someone said to be PMO & P will have big effects on your gym workout & will stop you muscle size etc it'd probably scare me & annoy me so I would be more determined to stop. I must do a bit more research into that!

21 days is awesome man, I know it takes a lot - I reckon you'll smash it this time. It sounds like you're positive & focused dude, go for it man. I want to be like that & it inspires me cheers.

And starting to love your life I get ya, that's what I am after - it feels like I'm doing life at 50% at the moment & I don't want to waste any more time!

Cheers dude, all the best. Good luck on the exam.

Mate do meditation. TRUST ME! This stuff gives you a high if you`re really into it. It improves your health and stress levels. Whenever you feel stressed out, start concentrating on your breath. Observe whats going on in your body, how it affects you. Don`t try to remove the thought, just accept it. Just be aware of it and let it run its course. You will find that the negative thought or something that previously stressed you out would naturally go away.

Start thinking more positively. I know this is something really hard to do. But move yourself from the downward spiral to the upward spiral. The change is the hardest part. Once you cross that bridge, life is going to be what you want it to be! Everyday just be grateful for any 5 things that happened to you or anything that you feel happy about. Think about what you want in life. Screw the things you don`t want. You don`t want to be thinking about that :)

Cheers to a good life :)

    Got any good meditation links/info.
I'm convinced my biggest challenge is (PMO induced) anxiety.

I had done a meditation course by The Art of Living in Germany. They have their centers all around the globe. It changed my life. They teach you a rhythmic pattern of breathing and you just go deeper into it. More focused, less stressed and more intuitive. You should check it out. Although it is with a fee, it is 100% worth it. Eh, nothing good comes free right?

Cheers nrque, I'm going to start looking into this this afternoon. A few people have mentioned meditation to deal with work stress, to be honest I just never thought I could do it. Or I thought it could never work for me. But I'm going to try it, I do get spare time in the day so I could try it then & see how I get on. Thanks for putting the vids up too :)

Hi Palo, I am also looking for the benefits of staying away from P & reducing PMO to zero. I think I also suffer from anxiety at times & certainly stress. I posted this as I am very interested in seeing others experiences & how they have felt after say a week or a month or half a year - which I hope will inspire myself & others who struggle to make one week. I have only managed a few days on this tryout but after using this site I feel different to other times, stronger & with more support. Plus hearing other approaches such as meditation which nrque suggested is something which I wouldn't have tried before.

Keep it going man, all in this together.
