Hi, guys! I have a weird thing going on. Today I passed 8 weeks of NoFap and I am doing great but I have this 'issue'. I had 4 dreams so far. I fapped, edged, MO'ed in a my dreams although I am doing great in real life and have little problems holding back. In my last dream I started fapping and then stopped like after 15 seconds. I feel like my will power spread over my subconsciousness and took over. What a victory! What do you guys think? What is it? Fapping in dream?
Yes, it's definitely a victory! I think it's your mind trying to fill in what it is "missing". Since I've started NoFap, I too have been having strange dreams similar to yours (I normally wouldn't).
Eight weeks, wow! I actually was having fapping dreams early-on, and remembering my counter in my dream actually made me stop and wake up! I wasn't MOing in real life, but I was sure going strong in my dream!
Another way to look at it. I don't know how true (like scientifically) this is, but it makes sense to me. The male (and probably analogous to female, but I know less about that) body will continuously produce the material for reproduction. When we actively stimulate it for PMO, the body wants to produce more for the sudden increase in demand. Once we stop actively stimulating it, it will start to slow down the production until it reaches equilibrium. However, build up still occurs. Once enough build up happens the body will naturally open a "release valve" so-to-speak. This is typically in a dream. Hope this is a helpful rant.
