Wasn't sure where to categorize this thread but I felt like sharing. I made the difficult decision to add Reddit to my always block list. If you haven't seen my intro post, I started using a blocker after I saw a rise in my usage of corn. I've proven to myself time and time again that I can't be trusted with reddit. Its extremely easy to access nsfw content even when not logged in. Its been a bit uncomfortable not being able to open reddit at all but I know I'll get over it.
Wise decision. Reddit is for sure a website that wasn't designed to be a good/trustable site like others that have been suffering with waves of awful/weird users. Reddit is broken, full of weirdos and every kind of stupid people you could imagine and as you already recognized it's full of NSFW content, that means, full of crap.
I’ve come to realize that you have to insulate yourself against social media to fight this battle to the finish. If you are on the big social media sites - you are essentially standing in the line of fire when you could be safe in the trenches. It’s unfortunate but it’s true that the longer one stays on social media the higher the risk of relapse+reset. Get used to hanging out here is my plan.
Yes, I also think(from my own experience) looking and searching after women in real life will also make you relapse at some point and increase ur urges and cravings.
Good decision dude. Reddit and X are the worst sites for finding adult content. It's literally so easy to access, and even appears on my timeline on X sometimes if people who I followed like/retweet it. Definitely good to just get off there for the time being.
