My Journey to Success with NoFap

    I joined NoFap back in 2018 and the reason was obvious; I was hooked to excessive masturbation and porn. I have discussed my journey in detail in my journal(that got almost no attention and I was just talking to myself): https://forum.nofap.com/index.php?threads/redefining-the-future.291287/

    The journey saw many ups and downs, I hit 10 month streak twice and there were days when I couldnt complete a week as well.

    My major fear was premature ejaculation as with fapping I always ended up in 30 seconds or less, but before getting married (recently) I stopped everything, started eating healthy, and started gym as well which really helped.

    I thought in my first experience I would cum immediately but that wasn't the case I performed well and above my expectations so I didnt face any PE. I am having a healthy sexual life with my partner not facing any PE, and even if it happens I dont care I just enjoy the experience and I am not going back to the dirty world of porn/masturbation.

    With that said, I had been a active member of this forum, also contributed as an assistant moderator for sometime but now I believe I am ready to fly away.

    why did you get married and what influenced you to do so? have you regretted it or is life better for you?

    It's unfortunate you're "flying away" after success. There are a plethora of members that struggle on a daily basis to obtain even an ounce of your success.

    Like you, I also joined in 2018 but still struggle to string substantial time together. Connecting and following the words of wisdom from others is a big part of why I still show up everyday...and I need that as encouragement and guidance.

    I understand you put in time and service here...I commend you for that. However, I can't help but to be a bit saddened that the community will lose such a successful member.

    A huge part of my humble amount of success (60+ days) has come from helping others and being available. I need that just as much as the person seeking help, and I will continue to give back as it was freely given to me. I realize we all have different goals and intentions coming to this community, but you sir will be missed.

    Wishing you a happy marriage and a sober life!
