My decision about what to do with my virginity

so when a woman comes to your life you want to be completely unprepared? Gaining some experience is important.

 

I disagree that we must prepare for sex. Two virgins go in with no expectations and figure things out along the way, that is the way God intended it within the confines of marriage. I once heard a story about a woman who could not be satisfied by her boyfriend; the therapist asked her how young she became sexually active and how many men had she been with, the answer was the age of 14 and around 70 men. He told the woman that she finds it so hard to be satisfied due to the amount of men she had been with, they were different colors, sizes, levels of experience, etc. The blessing of virginity is being able to give yourself fully to your spouse; you come in with a clean slate and have no distractions, he or she is all you know and all you ever need to know. Cherish your virginity my friend, give it to the one you wish to spend your life with, whether they are a virgin as well or not.

 

honestly i thin is quiete the opposite. First of all porn is really different from sex. Second of all women don't like virgins, it is seen as a sign of weakness (and partly it is one). Hope you reflect a little bit on that.

Virginity and loyalty do not necessarily go together. She could see it as you simply being unable to get anyone else and that is why you are still a virgin. Loyalty is something you either have or no not have, being a virgin will not change that.

 

i think your argumentation will more likely scare a girl, rather then convince her.

 

I agree. That is not the correct way to handle the situation.

 

I think the reality that we will never really have the same relationships and even the same thoughts an actions as the people who had their relationships while their brains were developing as we really gonna be always broken in some way because of lack of development, as our neurological system develops while we are kids and trough teen years.

So in the whole honest, you can't expect to ever have normal regular relationships like other people do as we are already broken, but we can improve ourselves and grow as people.

 

This is a major generalization and is counter intuitive to what we are all here for. A man or a woman will not do well in a any kind of relationship in life if they think so little of themselves. To insinuate someone "has to get experience" to date is sophomoric.

 

You don't need to place so much weight on this aspect of your life. Focus on yourself, self-improve, learn self-love... No woman is gonna ask you "have you had sex?" before you are intimate with them to gauge your experience. And if they did they're likely way too low value to waste your time with. Life isn't and shouldn't be that crude.

 

That is untrue. My ex thought I was lying to her when I said I was a virgin, it made her excited thinking about being able to be my first.

 

I’d say calmly go about your day and don’t worry about the virgin label.. it’s just a life experience.. which ends up just being a memory in your mind anyways

the only reason virginity is a problem is because of the constructs you have placed in your mind regarding this word/concept

also, a virgin girl is seen as a good thing, but a virgin guy is seen as a weak thing.. it is society’s construct

Most importantly, if you can quit porn and masturbation for good, like truly quit, over a year streak, and be in good shape and eat healthy.. then your virginity won’t matter anymore.. you will just be a fit, healthy guy who has full control over his sexual desire
