Any advice on getting my first job

Be confident and social. I sometimes got a job just by having something in common with the person who was hiring me which would make it more comfortable for the two of us. Also being honest. Lastly I would add that if you are desperate for a job tell them you will work for a week for free and if they feel like you’re not ready they can get rid of you. Legally they can’t hire you but they will find that you’re serious.

 

Be confident.
Dress well.
Be fresh and groomed.
Maintain eye contact.
Be confident.
Be genuine.
Don't rush or talk fast.
Ask lots of questions.

 

I've always gone into a job interview from a stance of they need me just as much as I need them. They wouldn't have called you in to interview you if you didn't have something they want right? So now they know you need them, and now they have told you that they need you, so in that interview you are equals.
