I've heard that Truple filter is really good but it's not free, unfortunately. And there are other DNS based filters out there like Bull dog blocker which uses Cleanbrowsing DNS. Thanks for the suggestion!

A good advice to people who want to do fast animation so they can avoid problems with trying to bypass with fast fingers: you can increase animation speed in developer mode settings at your phone. there is no need to do adb commands in the computer for it.

afterwards, just block settings (using your favorite app blocker) so you can't change animation speed again.

Thanks for this topic. After reading this topic a while back, I installed Keep Me Out (I'm locked out right now lol), an AppLocker, and FocusMe. I also have CleanBrowsing DNS installed at the router level. This setup works for me. This is how I use them, in case anyone is thinking about installing them:

Keep Me Out: I have it so my phones locks between 1am and 7am. Sometimes, I do a quick lock if I know I'll be tempted.
AppLock: Blocks settings and Google Play Store so I can't force stop anything or get to the play store and use apps to bypass blocks.
FocusMe: Blocks keywords (like yoga for instance), apps, and websites (I know of one website that CleanBrowsing DNS hasn't blocked yet that I'm tempted by). I used FocusMe to block that website.

A tip regarding app lockers, choose one that can take a long password. I entered 11 different numbers for the password on the one I use. I wrote it down and placed it in a very inconvenient location. I blocked the Google Play Store, but if I still need it for a legit cause or need to update my apps, I can get the password, though it is a small headache to get to it.

I'm looking at speeding up animations because occasionally, I can get past the block of the App store and quickly install apps.

While it's not necessarily a blocker, a Christian app called "LeadMeNot" for Android offers free accountability the last I checked. I recently uninstalled it since I don't have any active accountability partners, but it might be helpful for someone out there. My old accountability partner confirmed that he got reports.

Is there any way to block ultra battery saver mode for redmi phones. My blocker hasn't been able to block saver mode

If I remember right, the BlockP app can block it. However, you'll need a way to block "BlockP" afterwards. You can pay or use a separate app locker and lock it down.

I recently changed up the blockers I use. For some reason, FocusMe quit working and the app locker I was using was too slow.

I still have KeepMeOut, but I may uninstall it because one of the new blockers I have can mimic what it does.

For now, I'm using "Stay Focused" and "BlockP" as mentioned above. Stay Focused is very powerful. At the moment, you can get it at $6.99 for lifetime access. It's well worth it. Once you lock in restricted mode, it's very difficult to get past. You have several options to unlock it. I chose to enter random text. I didn't know the random text would be like 100 numbers and letters, some lowercase and some uppercase! I also use it as a app locker and it's the fastest one I've come across. Both BlockP and Stay Focused can block newly installed apps and many other features, like one useful feature is BlockP can prevent VPNs from being turned on. In addition to locking down BlockP with Stay Focused, I also blocked the Google Play Store and Settings.

Another useful piece of information I found out was if you block "Package Installer" with Stay Focused, you won't be able to uninstall any apps. You can still uninstall them in the Play Store, but if you have that blocked, then it will be very difficult to uninstall them. You can turn it off if needed, but you'll have to unlock restricted mode and that's no easy task! Blocking Package Installer comes in handy!

Ironically I use blockp to block my porn but I wasn't able to block ultra battery saver even though it has an option to block battery saver. I have found another app(blocker hero) which costs lower and i can block ultra battery with this app but I don't if it works as good as blockp
. I have relied on blockp for months because it works really effectively and I don't want to scroll all those keywords once again just to get triggered. I havent even used other apps because I didn't needed to but this is a big flaw which I am not sure i will able to keep up with next month to resubscribe. I can't really afford multiple subscriptions because I am currently studying.

My solution was to only use Samsung earbuds with their special app. that way I am able to connect without the need to enter settings app.

I think the solution to this is by using the test dpc but for some reasons i have problems with it plus i am more confident to use the apps that i am using all these years

Is there a way to block sites on your web browser like instagram, tiktok, twitter, etc instead of the app.

BlockP the apk modded version It doesn't let me insert a password but still I was able to activate the unistall prevention (which work good). So I just need another app for lock access to blockP (in order to do not change settings from the inside) and I'm done.

So it should be easy for me now. I have my method and right now i just need a valid app that as a feature can lock another app.
Stay focused,Norton and blockapp are shit. Actually pretty much everyone I tried is shit... easily bypassable or that block unistallation even of others apps or that instead of a full password it let you protect only with a 4 number code. Any advice?

    Give handoff a try.
I replaced Test DPC with Handoff. You're probably looking for the Suspend app feature.

Thanks for the advice man, the point is I'm having different problems with pluckeye

    -ON ANDROID with handoff

When I click on the link "link to tester-community" after creating an account it says "uh uh you need a device for do that"

    -ON WINDOW:
First of all, after had installed pluckeye, it actually blocks everything. Not even pluckeye website is allowed, not even Google and secondly if I put "pluck clear" on CMD it says that the commands is not recognized.

The tester community is just discourse.pluckeye.net
You will find a post about handoff there.

I highly suggest you make a new detailed post on discourse about pluckeye blocking everything, including your OS. It has never happened to me but a friend reported a similar issue.

I can't even access discourse cuz when I try to log in it still says "uh oh you need a device for do that" maybe pluckeye just doesn't like the account I have created.. idk

To register a device from an android phone, you need the pluckeye browser from the playstore. Open u.pluckeye.net from pluckeye browser. You should be able to access discourse

    For windows, try
    Pluck repair

Not sure if it is going to fix the problem

I have pretty much fixed half of the problems. Stil can't use the CMD on window and "system: on" can't be enabled, but now at least the pluckeye extension work, I can import configuration and whole internet is not blocked. On android i guess i should follow the guide from the forum (which now I have access) with ABD, but I'll try later, first I'm going to try synsyspect for see if I can at least fix window 100%. I will let you know if I find a way.
You are giving me much help so thanks
