If you have bad genetics, you will definitely become bald someday. Otherwise, after quitting masturbation and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, your hair will become thicker and your overall happiness will increase.

Is the actual hairline receding? You may want to look into finasteride if it is male pattern baldness. I personally take it and it seems to have halted my hair loss for now.

I currently have this problem and have done intermittently throughout my reboot.

    Here is what is happening:

Ejaculation is controlled by what is known as the autonomic nervous system. The autonomic nervous system is the system responsible for:
    • sexual arousal
    • managing heart rate
    • secreting hormones
    • regulating heart rate
    • breathing
    • regulating metabolism
These are just a few of the processes that the ANS is responsible for. If we take it one step further, the autonomic nervous system has two key "modes" which are known as the parasympathetic and sympathetic systems. When our nervous system is in the parasympathetic mode we feel safe, we are social, we have a positive immune response, we are healthy and full of energy. However when our system is in sympathetic mode, our immune response decreases, we are often more tired, we might become emotionally frustrated, we often adopt feelings of anxiety and worry.

In short, the goal of a reboot is to discover why our body is stuck in the sympathetic mode. Your hairfall/brittleness is very likely linked to the shift of your nervous system from parasympathetic to sympathetic. I say this because I experienced the same thing. While in the flatline (sympathetic mode) my hair would thin, my scalp could be seen, and my hair would generally become brittle and even grey. However, as soon as my body recovered and reached homeostasis (parasympathetic mode) my hair would become fuller, stronger and essentially seem normal. The flatline IS your nervous system being in sympathetic mode. This above process is also what we currently call PAWS (Post Acute Withdrawal Symptoms).

Take a look at the following link, it illustrates the different modes a lot better.

For some of us, we can go 90-120 days and be cured. However for a lot of us, the problem is a lot deeper and requires diving deeper beyond this issue being a simple PMO addiction.
