    I was very stoked to finally meet someone to have so many days consecutive....
    I think once we get this part that you said: But I don't know whether we should go against our body for M&O...the control of watching P is in our control and should be stopped.
    Once we get that part the rest should follow right?
    All good! We All in this together and to assist each other along this arduous and sometimes very frustrating process!

    Hello "ginb8",
    It's kind of difficult to tell when reading things in text format, but is me? or it seems you're not very happy about wanting to Live a P Free Life?
    I can only speak for myself, but I only want to be completely Free from this Garbage of being trapped in such an idiotic habit/sin! I am upset with this alone not with everyone else, for the reality is that I have only myself for getting trapped into this junk...
    All that said...I will try always to remain positive in my journey outa this thing and to be of utmost help/assistance to anyone no matter what. I am here to help others and also to get Free from this and other things in my life that do not please my God!
    You finished a 90 Day cycle that is Great! Right? Let's do that again and Beyooond! Like we say 'round here...

    Welcome to all the new folks! Let's keep this thread blowing up guys.

    What habits are you guys trying to pick up to get on track? Small habits are very key. But big or small, just share whatever you're working on, I'd love to hear it.

    For me: I took my first cold shower in a while yesterday
    ... very unpleasant LOL but I'm going to be sprinkling them in sometimes.

    Thanks for all your suggestions mate... tried the wim hof method for 2 days and it feels amazing....been working out fine but haven't been studying much... which is my only problem rn....will surely increase my productivity today and show myself what i am capable of.will do check on again soon...next time a long one

    @Henry321 in my experience, the first thing to do is start small and start daily refocusing yourself. I'd your goal is to remove PMO but keep all other routines and goals and habits the same, it's going to be VERY difficult to achieve that.

    It is far easier to instead refocus on other goals and let them help you crowd PMO out of your life. So what do you want to add to your life? Exercise? Reading? More socializing? Religion? Meditation? New skills? Let's start in places like this and talk about it, I will share more tips later as well!

    Yes, I too have been doing the Ice Showers since last Summer, but doing them in the Winter months you meet a whole new You as Wim Hof says! LOL!

    Alright, day 2 for me. Been struggling a bit after work, but I think I'm good now. Gonna hit my workout and keep going.

    Going for 90 no PMO.

    I've been working on this for awhile and got about a 25 day streak. Haven't been able to pickup momentum again, but I really don't want to quit. While I've MO'ed quite a few times, I've only used P three times since just before Christmas. But I've been feeling myself slipping, and the thread I was in before has pretty much died, so here I am.

    I'm sure I will fail many more times before I beat this, but I see more and more that I need to be in this for the long haul. I know I don't want to go back, so I'll keep moving ahead.

    Doing good today. Yesterday I evaluated my triggers, temptations & routines, and possible response against them. One thing I identified is I spend a lot of time in social media each day, a lot of times I get exposed to post & videos with beautiful women dancing sexily, esp. on from TikTok vids uploaded on FB. I get tempted to keep looking and eventually commit PMO. Terrible! I created some plans to avoid and counter them and I hope I'll be consistent with them.

    @Aod Dhan that sounds very interesting. Can you elaborate on that a bit more?

    @liveFreeOrDie I love the mindset man. Many might disagree with this take, but I believe that of PMO, P is by far the biggest problem. MO have been around with us humans forever. They might not be good, but they're at least not horrific like P is, IMO. Remember that the only way you lose is to quit! Also we're you in Goldfire's thread? Your name seems familiar.

    @glnb8 that's awesome that you're doing your homework on this! Social media is so brutal for this, you're right. My last slip up was directly tied to it, and I barely even use it! I can't imagine using tiktok regularly and keeping a streak up, for exactly the reasons you said. In my view, early during a streak, it may be necessary to quit some things entirely. There's a web forum I like that I am staying away from lately for this reason... sometimes raunchy stuff gets posted there.. I'll go back eventually, but only when I have a couple months clean under my belt. Just a thought.

    @Soldado_De_Dios yup, cold showers during winter are brutal! I think I'm just going to do them a couple times a week and stay warm the rest of the time.

    I have had a solid week. I've stayed clean and it hasn't been as hard as I was expecting. I think the urges will probably crank up big time Sunday-Friday of next week. My plan is to post on here every day and STAY BUSY! I can't stress this enough guys: if you have free, unfocused time, your mind WILL work its way back to PMO and the more times it does this, the higher your odds of breaking get. Stay strong guys.
     
  17. It's part of the integration process.
    Fragmentation of the individual psyche can be a source of addictive behavior patterns, unresolved shit that we repress causes unhealthy coping mechanisms to deal with stress, like porn addiction. Dream analysis can be a method to identify what is happening in the subconscious, where much of our "shadow" resides.
    Basically, when you wake up from a dream you immediately relive the dream in a waking state and contemplate what the dream was signifying, some people will write it down for later reference.
    There are many psycho-analysts that believe that our actions are mainly driven by the subconscious parts of our minds, which I agree with, and know it's true for me.
    So, the process of integrating the shadow, or repressed emotions, can theoretically reconcile the "good" and "bad" parts of ourselves back into a healthy whole self.
    When we try to deny or push away the so called "bad" aspects of ourselves, we become fragmented and fight constant internal battles because we are not at peace with ourselves. Unfortunately, for many of us, this happens in childhood, because of parental and societal conditioning, and then we never learn how to cope with life successfully.
    Dreams are powerful messages that we experience every night, but most people either disregard them as nonsense, or think they have no meaning.
    Why do we have them? There is a reason for everything in our lives!

    The 2nd point made is totally matching with what I think...P is biggest harm....We cannot go totally against our body for MO...we can decrease it.....but P needs to stopped completely

    @Aod Dhan I've found the notion of integrating your shadow particularly relevant for quitting P. I grew up a little, uh... sheltered, and any kind of meaningful relationship with the opposite sex was almost non-existent. I had friends, sure, but I was more or less conditioned to never consider that I might be attracted to a girl, so I basically shut off that entire side of me. When I finally stumbled across soft P that suited my fantasies, it actually felt less wrong than an actual relationship. With my failure to integrate, I easily slipped right into more and more P usage.

    How are you all doing??
    Been having strong urges since morning but i am trying to not give into them...i will surely try studying a lot today to keep myself busy and also because there is an exam tommorow....i will even hit a workout.....today in the morning i tried doing a long meditation session but broke the practice when I was more than half way through as my mind was getting a bit messed up due to the urges.... will again do the same meditation in the evening and this time try to get it done.... I will also go take a walk out to refresh myself and maybe even ask a friend of mine to come along.
