    Hey guys,

I wanted to suggest something to help you stop relapsing, that I am trying for myself.

Make relapses an incredible source of pain or punishment.

Porn feels good in the moment, so we need to teach ourselves that porn = pain instead if we want to eradicate it from our life.

So I have made a commitment to myself. If I relapse, I will donate a huge sum of money to NoFap. I have tried this before with small amounts of money, but the negative impact on me is not big enough. So I've made the figure an amount that really would sting my pocket.

Whenever I have had an urge I think about the new financial consequences of relapsing, and the urge dies pretty quickly.

Until there are real consequences of your relapses, you will always be prone to them.

You could say ruining your life is a consequence of your relapses, but that hasn't been enough up until this point has it? Ruining your life is an intangible consequence. You may need tangible negative effects to truly commit to a new life without pornography.

Hope this helps (I'm sure this isn't a new idea haha) feel free to message me if you are really struggling, always happy to help.

    Thanks

    Luke

I already feel bad for 3 days straight after i relapse and the pain i feel inside is immeasurable. This alone stops me from relapsing.

    Damn bruh..
At last somebody whos ready to get over " its ok to relapse " " dont be too hard on yourself " " failure is a part of success " ...
Failure is always appreciated if it comes even after you gave your 100%...failing when you're not doing your 100% or giving up , is just premeditated failure...
A punitive stance will only make one more disciplined..
