Yep you read the title right! I got bored of porn a few years ago. Instead from time to time i read sex stories what other people carry out (load of fiction nonsense). I guess this is another way of fuelling my brain. However i have disabled adult content on my phone so I don't look at porn as i started to after deleting Facebook. However adult content only includes porn sites and not sex story sites. How can i block em on my phone? It helps blocking all triggers however my brain is desperately trying to find fuel....to fund the habit

This is me! I am reader by nature and my imagination + erotic stories is my strongest addiction. It's not better than viewing porn it's exactly the same - or worse if you're like me. Your web filter should be blocking the story sites too. If it's not then try configuring it to specifically block the sites you use.

I think its more important to have a knee-jerk reaction to turn it off, close it, or look away then to try to block it (though that helps). The only reason why I say that is because blocking isn't 100% reliable. eventually you'll encounter it, and you'll need to make the right choice.
If it helps the written word is far healthier than watching money shots on internet videos, Its explained in "your brain on porn" yes its still pornography, but its not jumping from scene to scene every two minutes like the videos you used to watch. It works the brain in a different way, the Dopamine isnt as constant, its at a slower pace A porn movie from the 1979 with a story and emotions is a different beast than 50 money shots in a row that we get today. All porn isnt equal in its effects on the human mind. Its not that simplistic. still you may be better off banning it
i used to read romance novels with sex "scenes" in them. was amazing. 10/10. ive since then stopped but im totally gonna continue in the future. its not only the sex in the novels but just how the relationships bloom and grow and such. i am rambling. but yes.

You're not alone, I used to read sex stories a lot, but I've since switched back to watching vids. I think reading those stories is just as damaging as watching porn. Like you said, the behavior quickly changes into jumping from story to story looking for the perfect one. Same mechanism as with videos. Plus, the time it takes to read a story means that the dopamine is released over a period of time similar to the one when we watch vids. We've got to get rid of all that and starve our brains of those artificial sources of dopamine.
Ok I've found a blocking app to block the site and it works. It gives the same network over 18s message from the network provider for some reason. But anyways it works!
It doesn't work... I tried adding more sites to it and it gives this message "access denied this app needs root access" But within the app there are no setting options
Which app are you using? I've been using K9 for a few days but it is definitely blocking my story sites.

It's called 'K9 Web Protection Browser' on Google Play. It seems I'm too new to this site to actually post the link for it though. :/ I am using the version for my laptop but I haven't tried the iPhone version yet.
