So, I have noticed recently that I have associated the female body with PMO. Whether it’s video games, movies, or even real life, observing a desirable body structure leads to the instant urge to PMO. I wouldn’t say this is necessarily compulsive on the spot, and some days I save the act for the day after. However, I will want to PMO if I see a very attractive woman. Her appearance doesn’t even need to be sexual, it is just as long as certain body parts are remotely noticeable. Moreover, it seems like I’m searching for it all the time. Not that I stalk for it, rather I stare if the opportunity presents itself to me. If I’m talking to a female friend or stranger, I will tend to sneak a peak at her chest if I can. Thus, besides wanting to stop objectifying women (being priority 1), I want to stop being out of control of the situation.

I have tried nofap multiple times in the past, yet I would give up because the urges ALWAYS return. I though as long as Im not hurting anyone, why should I fight it anymore. This being said, the lack of control is becoming more and more apparent.

So, is simply not PMO’ing going to fix my brain or is there more I can do?

Also, what I have learned over the years is that most ppl say their recovery is tailored to their own personal style. So, what questions should I ask myself to find what I can do to create a realistic recovery plan that fits me?

I think it should definitely help. You know, with porn, we see women doing all sorts of degrading things. Your brain starts to view them as objects rather than people.. Not cool. Just try to stay busy and not look at any porn or tempting material. I'm sure it will help.

  3. Just want to say that I understand what you're feeling and that recognizing a problem is an important step towards solving it. I have had a problem getting past 2-3 days, but currently am at 7 days, and this time found urges a little reduced once I got past 5 days. Also I'm trying to take this really seriously, as if it is life or death (which it may be, since this is causing me health problems).
