Since starting NoFap i have turned into a pervert, i have sex on my mind more often than not and i'm lying awake at night thinking about girls. I'm checking out literally every non obese girl that i see and getting dirty thoughts.

It's getting to a ridiculous point where i'm finding any girl attractive no matter how wrong or inappropriate it is. I'm not proud of this, but i saw my sister at the weekend and i couldn't stop staring at her boobs and she saw my erection and it was awkward as f**k. Also my friend has a 12 year old sister who has a crush on me and
i've always found it cute and laughed it off but last time i saw her i found myself enjoying the attention when she was following me around and even flirted with her a little (which i regret) and found myself checking out her legs.

My acne has improved since starting NoFap and i feel more energised so it would be a shame to stop NoFap because of this but now i'm seriously considering it. I wasn't like this when i attempted NoFap last year. Is this just a phase?

Your beast is roaring at you to feed it. Denying the urges can make them stronger for a time, but it will pass.

STARVE THE BEAST INTO SUBMISSION AND EVENTUALLY HIS POWER WILL SUBSIDE.

Yes, I find my mind getting more hypersexualized in the beginning weeks of withdrawal, and I even start having fantasies to act out for real, when PMO would be the lesser of two evils, which can be a trigger to PMO since it doesn't look as bad under the guise of something even worse. And, on occasions where I fell into PMO for that reason, the original perverted fantasy isn't even appealing anymore but even disgusting. It's amazing how the perception of the mind can switch so quickly at times.

Agree with Haggis... Your subconscious brain is telling you it's going to DIE if you don't feed it some porn and dopamine.
You're consciousness is at war. Tell your subconscious "brain.. you're not going to die, I'm in control and this isn't going to happen!"

When my withdrawals tell me I'm going to die, I often reply rather nonchalantly, "Well, I'm just going to have to die then." No need for alarm, panic, fear, trembling - that's what the addicted brain wants - to agitate you into falling.

  6. I often had the same feeling as Joe. Quitting the addiction felt horrible, at times like I was going to die. I had the thought many times this is hell, and I came back with the thought, if this is hell, it is hell I will feel every day of my life if this is what I have to feel to get free. I can tell everyone, this does end, but even though I can tell you that, when you are feeling the worst of the worst you won't believe it will. So, don't believe it. Believe it will never end, and commit to feeling it, taking it, forever, every day, for the rest of your life. Quit hoping it will end, quit waiting for the day it will end, and embrace, say it out loud, think it to yourself: This will never end, but it will never break me. Never. That way, when it finally does end, it feels like a gift.

I celebrated the withdrawal feelings I was having. Every sweaty second. Every trembling moment of it.

...because it meant I was winning. The beast doesn't roar at you if its well-fed and content. It only screams at you once you stop paying attention to it.

Tell me about it man. I cant sleep at night because all I can think about is sex. I work at a store that's frequented a lot by young girls. They come in with their short shorts and their tan legs and their walking around an I'm just dying inside. I'm noticing the subtleties of the female form more intensely wherever I go. I've got a chub all the time.

That is something interesting I've noticed. I'm noticing more and more all these real world women. Then when I think about some of the more out-there porn I used just weeks ago it seems just... empty. Like it's kind of a turn-off almost. Only 5 days in and while I have urges it's like my perceived attractions themselves are morphing into something more normal.

This has to be one of the most inspiring posts I have read... It reminds me... suck it up dude, stop being a wimp and man up. If I'm being tempted, so what!!! Deal with it, accept it as a reality and move on... thanks for the encouragement...

I was obsessed with sex during my reboot, afterward, I lost about 80% of my interest in sex and women. Today, I fap once every 10 to 14 days instead of the once or twice a day before my reboot. Today, I notice, I almost never think about sex at all, even while fapping. Also, its rare that I find a women attractive anymore. Before, I was sexually attracted to 30-40% of women my age, now its like 2 or 3%. So, yeah, a reboot will help.

In some ways, its very freeing.

"STARVE THE BEAST INTO SUBMISSION AND EVENTUALLY HIS POWER WILL SUBSIDE.[/QUOTE]". Do you know how to get one of those green bar measurements so I can have an incentive to stop watching this disease?

Click the field of another measurement bar and you will be brought to a guide telling you how to get it. It is really simple as well!

Also, to add in to what many have already said, my libido too goes into an absolute fit during the first days, even from just walking past someone even close to attractive. It is annoying and distracting but one has to pull through!
Personally I manage to find enjoyment in it as well, at times when it isn't too frustrating, because it means I am appreciating women and their beauty in close reality rather than looking at pictures of them. I do agree that it gets annoying come bed time, and I going through this having a fiancée and all.

Can't say for certain. I've heard many people on here refer to their inner addict as a "beast". And once you start to ignore/triumph over the cravings/withdrawal feelings, then they eventually do begin to ebb.

I love metaphors and that's one of my favorites :)
