  1. Wanted to know if anyone else is cutting gluten out of their diet and what effect that has on temptations. I feel, personally after cutting it out (still drinking caffiene (green tea) cutting out gluten has reduced temptations entirely. I also cut out dairy and tomato.

    In just to see what effects it has, I still eat gluten. I rarely have dairy as it messes up my gut, mainly occasional lactose free milk.

  3. Do you drink caffiene? I'm drinking like 4 cups a day and I don't have temptations after I cut out gluten.

    I stopped caffeine about 6-7 years ago, it would wreak havoc on my nerves. It doesn’t make you anxious/wired?

    I wonder if gluten releases dopamine and craving, it’s interesting that your temptation went down. I haven’t really had much temptation lately, only when I have massive discomfort tbh. I’m at 147 days and 219 porn free.
     
  5. Caffeine can make me anxious, I cut it out every once and so often, I've found that if I don't eat many carbs or eat gluten, caffeine doesn't affect me in the same way. I'd like to get to 147 days no PMO, my record is 52 days. Right now I'm at day 11 almost day 12. (My average is like 18 days) I like caffeine because I tend to be more productive when I drink it. It's really great that I can go this long and be drinking as much caffeine as I am. For programming, caffeine is kind of essential for me. 1 cup of coffee 4 cups of tea, I actually do better when I cut out in terms of real life jobs and stuff when I cut caffeine and carbs and gluten and cheese and tomato. The diet is pretty strict.

  6. My numbers are pretty low, I was heavily addicted to PMO before I started NoFap. I am doing really well for myself, I cut MO by like 95% and P by 100% in my first year.

    Oh nice! Green tea has its healthy benefits for sure, I don't deny that. To be honest I wish I could drink some caffeine, just no in the mood for the wired feeling haha. Keep me posted on how cutting out gluten helps with your streak/overall lifestyle. As someone of European ethnicity, what does taking out tomato from your diet do?

    That's great man, don't sell yourself short. That's great progress. I've been attempting nofap (Albeit not seriously at all) for about 7 years now. And the further I had ever gotten was around 50-60 days.

    This was the first time, back in November, where I took it seriously. The ramifications of the last 4-5 months of my addiction were quite high. It took a pretty huge toll on my mental health and physical health. I'm still in flatline/experience PAWS on and off. I only MOed once on day 72 of my first streak since November due to some pretty serious insomnia (Spoiler it didn't help haha), but in my case it's no longer an option. I'm hoping around the 1 year marker i'll have a pretty solid improvement in my overall wellbeing.

    Gluten is poison, avoid bread, pizza etc, it's hard on the body and difficult to digest,. Coffee should be thrown away and replaced with brahmi/tulsi tea.

    The idea behind dairy is that we should get only the surplus of milk after the cow gives the milk to the lamb, nowadays it's impossible so dairy is a waste of time.

    Tomato is ok, but some people are intolerant to it, it depends how you eat it, the variety etc.
