Hii guys,Like many others me too have a porn and masturbation addiction. i started masturbation at the age of 10 and viewed porn at the age of 13 ,and I used to 2 times a day and also felt the negative effects of porn and masturbation in my past years my confidence level decreased,I couldnt make eye contact with anyone I was afraid everytime I also developed weird fetishes I started to look every female as sexual objects.But thank god I came to know about NoFap in the year 2020 during the lockdown and and joined the NoFap forum in reddit I already knew this website But I didnt signed up but today I signing in. So guys I am young fapstronaut and I want to get out of this addiction so help me.thank you

Welcome! I would start by blocking everything that causes you to view porn. Block the websites and apps that lead you to porn or other triggers. I like to use Cold Turkey for my computer and AppBlock for my mobile devices. Try to build a situation where it is pretty much impossible for you to relapse. I think you will need about 8 months to 1 year free from PMO to break out of the addiction, that is a lot better than needing 2-3 years. That's how long it will take if you keep doing PMO until you are in your 20s. You'll start to get some of your essence back pretty quickly, your confidence will start to improve because you are no longer doing something that you know is shameful. You might go through a period where you feel really awful, this is just the withdrawal syndrome and its a sign that your brain is changing, you will eventually come out of it for good as long as you don't relapse.
