Thank you for spending some time to share all of this and at the same time answering my questions. Now for the hard part, finding what works best and what doesn’t lol.
Day 12 Interesting. They sound like goals to me. A bit difficult to objectively measure, but goals nonetheless. You could start with those as your reasons for doing NoFap. Keep us posted as to how you're doing My pleasure! It's just a matter of starting the habit. The great thing is, even if you feel that one type of meditation "didn't work as well as another type" you will still get some benefit from the practice of calming your mind, letting it focus on one thing, being mindful. And it's something that gets easier over time Oh and mindfulness is another type, not just of meditation, but there are mindful activities that are really quick and still helpful. Here is a good list, some of which I've done before. https://positivepsychology.com/mindfulness-exercises-techniques-activities/ I'm only a couple of weeks in, and it feels like...it's just a good way to start my day off right. There's no miracle, but it seems to leave me feeling calmer for the rest of the day then I would otherwise be.
Checking in, day 13. Welcome to NoFap @ivanricci What happened YooHoo? I must've missed your relapse post. Any lessons/re-lessons that you could share? All the best for this one.
Still going strong, day 14/30. I'm curious about next week, people say sexual thoughts are the hardest around the 3 week mark. Is this true? So far, my sexual thoughts were the hardest around day 8/9. It's going smoothly past gew days though.
Good job! You're saying "last week", but are you planning to just make it a habit and quit it forever once you are over it? The ultimate goal is to enjoy the benefits always right? I'm new to this so I'm curious how you guys approach this.
He probably meant 1 week away towards a victory Rewarding your brain by celebrating small wins is really important and effective to achieving our main objective which is to quit PMO for good
