Anyone willing to push each other & create a business?

  1. Hey!

I don't know if this belongs here. But because nofap kinda ruined my life I'm looking for someone in the same situation. Someone who has a lot of free time, don't know what to do in life and just feel days passing by without living it. I'm ready to pick up the pieces and finally stop being broke again. I have a lot of nice ideas, but need a partner in crime to push the project and stop being lazy all the time. Prefer someone who is rather on pc than on mobile for the internet. I'm done with being a loser, so join me on the journey to freedom.

  2. Would pm you, but can't find the function to do it.

  3. Sure, I've done a lot of research the past year. And creating an online business is what I'm chasing right now. I'm actually already starting with building up some blogs & businesses. I have a variety of concepts in mind. Cpc, Affiliate projects, Shopify, Guest posts from bloggers, online magazine, building a agency for websites / SEO... I actually know it all how to start it up and make it successful. But my brain fog always kept me from really acting on it.

  4. To work from home and to finally chase all of my dreams. To finally live again, after Nofap ruined me almost. To kick of the items of my bucket list. To finally live free. And to travel the world.

  5. I know, but not 9-5 is the meaning of free for me. I'm willing to work 14 hours a day and I will still feel more free than an obligated 9-5 job. What are you good in?

I had a blog 3 years ago. I worked on it day and night. It doesn't get any view's as I expected even after several months. So I started a YouTube channel. Same story. Then me and 2 of my friends started an automobile review channel (we got many view's than we expected). We made better content as much as we can, but all we get are $8 from running ads.

Now I'm learning android development. For the past year. I have many ideas. But I lose motivation after some times. I get frustrated and relapse.

Porn is dragging me away from success. Any way I started again. The more we fail, the more we learn. Me and my friend is designing a chatting app which is set to release next month.

Great thinking guys keep it up , if all of you are in the same country then why do not you have a meeting and talk about what business you would like to start ...

  9. Those are great ideas guys! My case is similar to @LiftMeUp I always get the idea, work on it but feel demotivated after sometimes, currently I am focusing on learning motion graphics and kotlin programming language. Then I will jump to the next step :p a lot of time wasted but a lot of time is there so don't waste more :)

I think that is a fantastic idea. Ive thought of it myself but ive no idea what id do. Id thought of selling stuff online from home but theres so many websites selling different things it would be hard to know what to sell. Id thought too of the youtube idea but ideally youd need a bit of mobey to start with and then be a case of what to film

  12. It won't last.

44% of business owners failed before the 5th year, in a study from 2014 to 2018.
    https://www.fsb.org.uk/uk-small-business-statistics.html
5.8 million small businesses, that's just in the UK. You have a shit ton of competition.

Businesses are closing left, right and centre anyway. This American study found that 32.7 million job losses are the result of the coronavirus. Also, financial fragility is at an all-time high from looking at those graphs.
Good luck starting your business, mate.

Such is life that nothing is guaranteed.

I am looking forward to some statistics on how many people failed doing 9-5 jobs. Bet the numbers would be even less promising for future employees lol.

  14. Starting a business, or doing anything creative, is counter-productive to gaining financial stability and success.

STEM is the new thing. 20 million people, approximately, are employed in STEM.
    Look at these jobs.

Look at how much they pay.
    "Oh, but I don't have a degree"
Learn some skills then! If that fails, become a monk and live on grains of rice in a monastery.
"But I was told to do what I enjoy doing"
Just because something is traditional there's no reason to do it, of course. Are you really gonna live on mamma's breast for the rest of your life?

In that case tell the things you were telling here to someone who was born yesterday, not me.

  18. I'm sorry, but weren't you the one who said that you take financial advice from people with money??
If that's the case, then you'll be following every Tom, Dick and Harry who say they're making more than 100k a year.
I hope you don't get scammed too hard there, buddy.

  19. Before starting anything, you have to be aware of what goes into it and the potential consequences from it. That's common sense. I have looked into starting a business, but for me it seems too risky. Personally, I'd rather go into engineering or marketing, working for an already stable business.
A lot of people starting businesses follow the wrong plans or get scammed. Again, check the amount of ads on YouTube or any other website on start-ups. That's common sense.
I'm not discouraging anyone from starting a business, I'm simply stating that you have to use common sense before going into any field.
If engineering jobs were to decrease, in addition to marketing, I'd save enough money to go to Law School or go into digital marketing and computer programming. You have to adapt to the times. Not all businesses last because they lack endurance and a solid foundation. They lack reason. They don't make resources, they waste them.
My late grandfather ran a failed computer business. This is going to seem a bit edgy, but I actually watched him drink his life away because of the stress he was under.
Invest little and invest wisely, hire people who know what they're doing and don't listen to anyone who you can't speak to in real life. Take courses, work under businesses first. That's my advice.
