    Hey guy's n girls,

just wanted to say a quick hello. I found out about the NoFap last year in Feb and have had numerous attempts at quitting since then. My longest streak was 12 days on my first attempt, I then made the fatal newbie error by checking if my penis was still working and pmo'd. Since then I have struggled to match that streak, however where I was pmo'ing 2-3 times a day I now only PMO every 6-7 days so I look at this as progress even though it kills me every time I PMO, as I feel like I'm starting again from the beginning.

Due to my circumstances I had to move back in with my parents, I'm 36 btw! Have no job and had become quite seriously depressed. Since I started nofap my mental state has improved quite a bit but I feel crappy and fall into a rut as soon as I PMO. So I know that if I could kick this habit for good then I would be able to start living the life I want.

So guys please wish me good luck and thank you to this wonderful community beforehand.

  3. Yo Shamim Miah! Congrats on making it to 12 days. That's progress man. Try to avoid any stimulation whatsoever on your dick, it can and will cause you to relapse.

You can get your life back together, your age doesn't matter. And think of where you are as temporary, you'll be able to get the life you want to live, and choosing to go PMO free will go a long way in helping you down that path. Going cold turkey gives you more time to do the things you need to do, instead of spending it on some porn site and jacking off you put your attention on looking for a job, etc.

Good luck on your streak brother. There are a lot of posts on this site about living a PMO free life, and the NoFap community is very supportive! I wish for your success in curbing your addiction.

P.S. Here's a pretty good article on going PMO, give it a read, you may find it useful: http://www.yourbrainrebalanced.com/index.php?topic=15558.0
