A great article, and rings so true! I assume prisoner's hand is the death grip, but as said above, I hadn't heard that one before.

The women here write better posts than this article for free. Let's read between the lines:

Pay attention to the "good earner" part, it will be important later.

So she married a sad sack SJW because her mother told her she needed the money.

Look lady, you married a passive aggressive liberal, this is what they do.

I wonder how many of them were "good earners." Guess Mr PC liberal wasn't good enough until she needed the money, even before she knew about his porn problem. Doesn't feel so good when the shoe's on the other foot does it?

By the way, burlseque is stripping for ugly chicks. Total hypocrite.

  9. There are so many things wrong with this story from both sides that I lost count. At least it's a perfect portrayal of how not to build and treat a relationship. This letter is a story of two individuals who kept their own self centered view and entered in a relationship of mutual "we use each other as long as it's fun". Also they haven't took any sort of responsibility for their marriage.
Like kids. "It's your fault!" "No, it's your fault."

In the end the kids will be those who suffer the most because their parents refused to behave like adults.

    This part is especially troubling:
"It was your love of porn that slowly diminished my love and respect for you and destroyed my self-confidence. I couldn’t tell them and I’ve never said it straight to you but you must know, you must remember those conversations."

Never said it straight...? Why not?

    Because it's the guardian.

  11. What do you mean by that? I'm not familiar with the Guardian or the quality of its contents.

I used to like the Guardian a lot but I've realised that it's populated almost entirely with whiney articles about classism and feminism.

Yeah, jttb hit the nail on the head. Comments section is full of all kinds of stupid "you're perfect the way you are" (anyone who lifts has no patience for that bullshit) crap, probably from vicki pollard lookalikes.

  14. I looked her up. I shouldn't have done that.

Irrespective of the fallacies in the article that people have commented on or the fact that the couple could have both done more to save their marriage, I think there is an underlying truth to the whole article: Porn can destroy a relationship.

There is no denying that and we have to recognize that. Just my 2 cents.

Well sure, but like I said there's more truth in the relationships forum here.
