Is there a site that is more dedicated to porn free? Rather than an extreme anti masturbation site?

Is there a site that is similar to this that mainly focuses on porn free? Rather than this site where a lot of users are also extreme anti masturbation.

Ironically when I read stuff on this site written by other users it actually can cause me to get really obsessed and a low mood, which actually causes me to relapse. This is usually caused by some of the extreme beliefs a lot of users on this site have. Things like if you end up masturbating on an occasion your in serious trouble, you have no hope of rebooting if this occasionally happens. This is the sort of beliefs a lot of guys on here have.

Ironically when I hear things like this it actually gets me obsessed and low to the point a lot of the time I end up relapsing by PMOing. But when I put my main focus in to stopping porn and artificial sexual stimulation I do much better at stopping porn and artificial sexual stimulation, and my masturbation naturally reduces. But that's clearly not good enough for a lot of users on here.

Something else I have noticed recently is when you read stuff on yourbrainonporn or stuff written by the nofap team, their views are actually no where near as extreme as a lot of the users views on this site are.

I know there is a pornfree sub on redit, but I can't get on that as redit is blocked on my laptop. I can't even spell the world correctly as the word is blocked on my laptop.

AFAIK the subreddit is all there is, it's a smaller community.

Let me ask you a question: Are you on social media (aside from this site) still? And even if you're not how much time do you spend here? Are you selective in which posts you read, and if so in what way?

The thing is I think the truth is we have a tendency to spend too much time on here even if it is in general geared towards recovery. It's not just a matter of how much time of course, it all depends on what you read. Also it depends on whether you can just see it as other peoples opinion and keep it that way. This actually ends up going beyond rebooting anyway.

You can get into AP groups or specific groups, I don't know if there's a P only group in the Groups section of the forum but that's a possibility. On the other hand though that has the possibility of an echo chamber, it is possible for people to just say this is why I do P only or PM and you can take that for what it is, and ultimately accept it or not and those people can say it without pushing but they are free to express themselves as anyone else.

The thing is too you get to a certain point where if you just have a group with everyone thinking the same way it's just not interesting, I mean why would it be if everyone agrees on the same thing? You can agree on the goal or just accept people have different goals without the rest of your thinking being the same, but it's just a possibility that people paint themselves into a corner more and more and only expose themselves to the same point of view.

What if you have people that are all doing PMO but they don't push you at all, would you be comfortable with that? Because there's a difference between people saying "you need to" blah blah blah and just people doing what they do but respect that you make your own decisions.

I think another issue is I have quite bad obsessive compulsive disorder. I heard Gary Wilson the creator of your brain on porn say in a video that this seems to be more challenging for guys with ocd. He even said sometimes guys like this need to focus on giving up porn and not worry as much about masturbation.

I don't know why this sometimes happens with guys with ocd. I think for my self I always need to know the right answer, like I need to do things perfectly or something.

There is stuff on here guys write that I don't actually believe, like if you still ended up occasionally masturbating but you cut out porn and artificial sexual stimulation altogether that you would have no hope of healing from PIED. Like a lot of guys on here think you need a long period of no sexual release at all or you're in trouble when it comes to recovering from PIED.

Hearing things like that sky rockets my OCD, makes me very obsessed, makes my mood much lower, and as a result I end up stressed out and relapse by PMOing.

I actually think I should just listen to what it says on yourbrainonporn more, and listen to what the nofap team say more, rather than listening to the things a lot of users on here write

I can't access any social media. I can't access any artificial sexual stimulation at all at the moment.

Well as long as there isn't scientific backup that comes along with nofap do what it works for you.
Porn free will do it in a long term. Maybe it will need more time to cure some symptoms but i think it will do it..
We are all testers of the new drug.

I personally don't get the whole porn is bad but jerking off is ok thing. Jerking off only became acceptable sometime in the 1900s. Now we got all these people coming out with problems, but it's always "mah masturbation" and only the porn that is bad. I don't know for certain, but if you want to jerk off no one is stopping you. Even if this site was anti wank, which I don't think it is, it's about cutting porn completely and wanking for 3 months. Why take offense at those who think wanking is bad and want to stop it?

The other thing is. Do you really think you wont start looking porn when you wank?

Why take offence at it? Because there's guys on here literally preaching that if you can't go a very long time without any sexual release at all then you're in big trouble. They're basically preaching if you ended up wanking a handful of times while you're rebooting that you will have no chance of recovering from PIED. Regardless how long you have been away from porn and artificial sexual stimulation.

The issues with erectile dysfunction in young men came about in the 2000's. Particularly 2006 there was a huge rise in ed in younger men. 2006 was the year youtube style streaming sites first went online. It was the first time in human history you could access free unlimited high speed sexual novelty, and access it any time you want and as much as you want.

M is only bad in the context of MO or PMO addiction. But if you honestly only have a problem with P and you can MO without it escalating, then go for it. Won't hurt you.

Most of the common problems we experience (anhedonia, depression, anxiety, PIED, PE etc) came along with the advent of high speed Internet. Therefore, it is statistically likely that if you give up porn for a prolonged period (I believe 2-3 years to return to normal) you should rid yourself of those symptoms. It might be quicker and you will see fairly linear progress during the process, so don't be put off by the length of time it takes.

Getting to your point. If you are able to crack one off without looking at porn then go ahead. The issue is that if you start jacking off, then it is much more likely that you will be tempted / give in to porn mid-wank. That's why a lot of people suggest abstaining from both.

A lot of users at this forum are fine with M, or MO. This forum isn't anti-masturbation. Read the reboot guide. P mode, PM mode, PMO mode or even your personal mode either way it's perfectly fine. Just a matter of choice.
