I've attempted nofap many times but the longest streak I could ever go was like 3-4 weeks. Personally, I think there's a big difference between masturbating and porn. Our bodies are designed to get horny and crave sex. We are men. That's biology. I don't understand how any MAN could go 90 days without an orgasm. That seems to me just as UNNATURAL as porn is.

I've also noticed certain things about myself that I'd like to discuss with others. When I abstain from orgasm, I notice the complete opposite effects of the benefits that people say come with nofap. I become highly irritable, aggressive, and I can't think about anything besides cumming and sex. Eventually I relapse and the process starts again, but I think i relapse because it's not natural to hold all that sexual energy inside. It has to go somewhere. At least that's how I feel. What do you guys think?

Also, a little background. The reason that I hate porn, is that it warped my mind. I got into weird fetishes, trany porn, sissy porn, ect... weird ass shit that isn't me. After i cum, i go back to being me. I think for me, the answer is actually to orgasm to vaginas, and actual women. Not just whatever weird shit i'm looking at.

Craving sex is not the same as masturbating. Because you have only experienced small streaks before you give into sexual arousal you have not experienced the full benefits of not edging, not masturbating and watching porn. Some unwanted symptoms are to be expected when you withdraw from an addiction. But to abstain for a month without feeling any benefits is not normal. It makes me wonder if you are fantasising/edging over that period. Abstinence means just that - abstinence. Masturbation is unnecessary as you will discover.

Well I definitely have experienced benefits during those streaks, which is a dramatic increase in penis size and sensitivity.... which is pretty much the point right? If i can perform for a woman, isn't that the whole purpose of this? It's just after a certain period, my body is craving orgasm.

You bring up a great point about fantasizing. I think fantasy is the HARDEST thing to avoid. It's so much more difficult than just abstaining from porn or even masturbating. Do you have any tips on how to quite the fantasies. It's much easier said than done to just push the thoughts out of your brain.

Michael, if you can successfully free yourself from the grip of porn while still fapping enough to prevent your undesirable consequences of fapstinence, then more power to you. I don't think that there's anything inherently wrong with what might be called "innocent fapping," if you can live a decent and satisfactory porn-free life while doing it. It's not fapping that's inherently bad for you. It's your use of porn (or porn's use of you) that subverts fapping into something destructive to the rest of your sexual life and being. A no-PMO reboot is arguably the most effective tool in getting men porn-clean. Once you've achieved recovery through a self-challenge of whatever necessary length, then NoFap allows you to resume MO if you wish, while continuing no-P.

    Hi Mike
For me I have found that most of the battle goes on in my head. Not allowing myself to dwell on sexual thoughts. I remember hearing a good illustration that helped me put it in to perspective.

You may not be able to stop a bird from flying over your head. You can however stop it from landing on your head, making a nest and raising it's young.

Likewise you may not be able to stop sexual thoughts from poping into your mind. You can however stop them from hanging around.

Try deep breathing, slap yourself in the face, have a cold shower. Anything to clear your mind.

    Keep trying bro
