Sleepovers

  1. When you don’t feel like you’re gonna sleep, what do you do ? It’s 5 a.m, you just can’t. It’s 8 a.m, you’re still awake and there’s now daylight.
    What do you do ? Force yourself to catch some sleep or take a coffee and live your day ?

    same issue for me and now my schedule is screwed. sometimes when iam not tired around those times i tell myself ill stay awake till evening to sleep early but ill be dead tired around 11 am so then i wake up hella late like 6 pm and rip my day is half done

    I would say, if you’re struggling to sleep, stop trying, get out of bed and do something else for 30 mins. Staying in bed tossing and turning is ruining your sleep hygiene.

    Make bed just for sleep. Absolutely no point staying in bed complaining you can’t sleep

    Second reading a book. once you find that you are too tired to keep your eyes open or concentrate on what you are reading, you are ready for another attempt at sleep.

    If it's past 6am, I wake up and get on with my day - no matter what. If I am tired, I go to bed earlier or even nap in the afternoon. Lying in late in the mornings doesn't suit me.

    Edit to add: I also avoid eating late at night, or drinking anything other than water, as this can affect my sleep too. I would leave 2 hours plus between your last meal of the day and bedtime, if possible, and/or eat a light evening meal so you are not bloated or uncomfortable. If you feel hungry late at night, too bad - just plan a delicious breakfast and look forward to that instead!
     
  7. Sometimes, very often actually I hardly sleep earlier after a sleepover. There has to be a reason (I think it has to do with chemicals, the brain being messed up because of PMO)

    Man it depends on periods, cause yeah I would not eat at night but lately it's been hard, like I cook a lot (pastries specifically). Any tips to cut that ? To both stop eating AND feeling like going to bed and sleep ?

    Only did I realize today that I meant OVERSLEEPING not sleepovers hahaha I feel embarrassed. But it seems you guys knew what I meant.
