I dont know about literature but i think u should avoid thinking in terms of "addiction". more u say u r an addict more u reinforce that belief. plz dont use that word. Say a bad habit. that would be fine. I listened to marissa peer talk on impact theory today, she said same point. very powerful.
yes dats d way. Just figure out whats not working, what r the triggers, fix it, and mk committment in mind. New healthy habits may help u as also an accountability partner.
Not so fast my friend. Not so fast. first dont expect great unrealistic things. Secons, change will happen. but give it couple of months. just like in gym it takea abt 50-60 days to see some good progress, same here. Dont get disheartened by too much and too fast expectation and reboot. U r changing ur mind with this practicr, it takes time.
Plus much of positive thkngs will not happen just with pmo. pmo is the essential ingredient, the base. U gotta build a superstructure with new habits.
hmm try to be in company of someone all d time if possible for few days. like hr parents, siblings etc or go out/outdoors
Day 9. Had a slight "power surge "this morning, but controlled it quite easily. School really does help. Keeping on.
Sorry buddy, I like to deal with reality. I have had bad habits in my lifetime which are relatively easy to change. I have been trying to quit PMO for 5 years with no long term success because they liken porn to heroine as far as addictiveness goes now so if that isn't an addiction, I don't know what is. We all are dopamine junkies really.
