    Hello,
I'm 26 yrs old from Brazil.
Tried to get rid of fapping a lot of times, never succeeded permanently.

I'm basically trying to because I once stumbled upon the yourbrainonporn site and a red light flashed and a screaming siren banged on my head: "Oh my fucking god, this shit is happening with me!". The site gave a description that was precisely a 100% accurate with my situation. Everything YBOP described, precisely, withouth adding or removing anything.
    I had it all:
Escalating to more shcoking porn. The classic gir-on-girl no longer means anything to me, even though my rational part of the brain still finds it beautifull. I even went so far as going to "those" fetishes more commom in Japan and Germany, "if you know what I mean".
Copulatory disfunction. My friend has problems getting up to a real amazing girl, but no problem to a pixelated one on my monitor.
    And so on.

Therefore, I need to get rid of this addiciton, and to rebboot and be comfortable with real sex.

P.S.: I'm not a virgin, have done sex multiple times, but multiple times as well I failed to achieve an erection, or even if I achieved it I wasn't a 100% comfortable.

Best of luck man! You have to really want it, you have to want to quit porn more than watch porn. Stay strong!

Yes, withdrawals are a good sign that:

    a) you were right all along about porn and masturbation being like drugs. Or else there would not be withdrawals.

    b) If you are experiencing a withdrawal, it means you are on the right track of getting rid of the addiction.
