    Found a new website called habit free which is a Christian site. I like it because there are lessons and it asks you to state if you've stuck to your goals.

    Been reading/viewing a lot on the internet about PMO.

    It seems the effort of focussing on not fapping brings it to the forefront of the mind and makes f

    .... makes for easier relapses. The idea is not to tell your body that your restricting it but to focus on anything else but sexual thoughts or things.

    Make yourself busy at all times and concentrate your thoughts on non sexual thoughts. I.e. It's about mind control. I've been trying it out and don't feel as horny this week.

    Every time I have a sexual thought however minor I tell it to go away and think about something else.

    If I get really stuck I think about how good it feels to tick the 'no I haven't PMO'ed' box on the habit free website.

    Hopefully I'm on to a winner. :)

    THIS WEEK

    Been watching a lot of Creflo Dollar on the internet. (The same guy who tried to get his congregation to buy him a private jet!!)
    He does a lot on breaking bad/sinful habits, stopping PMO/fornication and changing your thought process.

    Whilst I'm not really into the wealth preaching :s He knows his stuff when it comes to sexual issues.

    He talks about changing your mind but in changing your mind you must fill the place that used to be filled with sexual thoughts with pleasant thoughts.

    By changing the mind you can change the actions of the body.

    To recognise the powerful influence of temptation. To humble yourself to know that it is out of your control. However if you believe in the strength of a higher power you relax because you know that when you're not in control God is in control.

    To resist temptation is difficult. The pressure to give in to temptation builds. You can't wait to go back to your old habits or else when you start to feel comfortable and think you're free of PMO then you slip up or you convince yourself that you'll go back to PMO for a short while whilst you have trouble in your life. To restrict your behaviour is hard.

    But to focus instead on the good that you can do is achievable. To change your thought process and therefore your actions and your lifestyle is to prevent temptation before it starts.

    PROGRESS

    I'm now day 8 FAP free. When I fall down I get back up again because thats the only way to beat it. Try, try and try again.

    Dear all :)

    Completed 14 days Fap free! Yay!! :D

    LOVELY THOUGHTS

    Been focussing on not thinking sexually and about guys and future boyfriends etc. anything thoughts that will sway my thinking I've been stopping before they begin to become sexual.

    I've drawn inspiration from the Bible passage that will follow.

    "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honorable, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." (‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬ ASV)

    So with this passage in mind I've been inspired to think lovely thoughts!

    WEEK AHEAD
    Would love to focus on getting my diet on track.

    I joined a slimming club a few weeks ago and haven't lost any weight.

    It's one of these ones that say you'll never be hungry as long as you eat more of the right foods.

    Problem is I have a large appetite. :(

    I'm gonna try following the diet and bring down my calorie in take slowly.

    I'll try eating 1900 calories this week and 1800 calories the week after and so on.

    My hope is that I'll be concentrating so hard on my diet that I won't be thinking about fapping. :)

    LONELINESS

    Been feeling lonely lately but trying not to dwell on it. Thinking about the holidays I have booked this summer and other events.

    Need to keep an eye on loneliness. I think that that is the principle reason why I fap.

    I think if I start feeling more sad and my holidays don't help with my feelings of loneliness then I'll do some more charitable acts and be more proactive in planning social events.

    Maiz -- I lost 30 lbs on Weight Watchers. Counting WW points is a lot easier than counting calories and provides more flexibility in what you eat. Check them out if you haven't already .....

    Hiya,

    3 week down today :) Yay!!!

    Feeling good about my progress.

    RESTARTING
    I was reading that it takes the average smoker 4 attempts before they quit. I've had a few false starts and slips but I take inspiration that I'm on the right track.

    For anyone who has fallen off the wagon there is hope keep trying. Most people will fall but it's about getting back up there and trying again. If you have fallen and are getting back up take heart that your on the right track and that it's a NORMAL part of your NoFap journey.

    REVIEW OF THE WEEK

    I can't tell you how much the habit free buttons have helped me this week.

    I had a stressful week. I've still been exercising but the diet is out the window and I didn't go to slimming club this week. Been given a weeks notice to move out which I'm told is probably illegal but I don't won't to argue. So I've been working full time, going to Uni and trying to find somewhere to live. Plus I'm going on holiday next week :s #DRAMA!!

    Anyway it looks like I can't find a place before my holiday so I'm putting my stuff into storage. I've seen a couple of apartments they're not perfect but I may just take them anyway.

    YET I'm OVERJOYED at the fact that I was very tempted during my stress to fap and I didn't. I even found myself on the internet with some questionable searches but I stopped myself. I thought 'if I click the link I won't be able to push the I haven't PMO'ed button on Habit Free.'

    I find when I'm stressed or upset I fap more. I won't to escape into fantasy and forget about my problems. I procrastinate with fapping bed the problem builds and I get more stressed and the problem gets bigger. But this time I didn't. I didn't waste time I just kept going. Instead of clicking the questionable links I started searching for a flat and for storage, then I rang family and friends for advice and I f

    And I found solutions to what seemed to be an impossible situation. :) I prayed and I read the Bible instead of running away from God.

    I feel so much better and so much stronger.

    MY WEEK AHEAD

    Thanks for the tip Mike47. :) I'm going to give my slimming world club a proper go of it i.e. 3-4 months. I like to really try something out and then I feel I can say it's not working. However I have been looking at weight watchers and I'll probably give them a go afterwards if I don't get on with this diet.
